Just before watching this, U learned that the ratio is 65% water to 35% sulfuric acid.
You say it's 75% to 25%. Now I need to do more research to get the right ratio.
O'Reilly sells premix battery acid and I believe it's 37% you get 5 gallons for 25$

Not enough information. SG needs to be corrected for ambient temp. Some hydrometers have a means to do this; many do not.
Boss for new lead acid battery of 12 volt , 200AH , what is concentration of electrolyte in terms of specific gravity ?? should we fill the battery with distilled water or fill with battery acid of specific gravity 1.2
good question. Use distilled water only. The mfg activates the battery with sulfuric acid. Adding it again will increase plate decay

What should I do?

Sir , I am planning to buy used Tubular battery , is this test all enough to come in to a conclusion about battery overall health are other tests necessary
Of course if the tubular cell is a flooded battery then the manufacturer will produce data reflecting the specific gravity in reference to state of charge
Question my 36 volts all have specific gravity above 12.2 and in the hood range but my golf cart only runs for like 10 minutes then dies. What could it be. Thank you all

Have battery tested at Auto Zone and they say it’s good but it won’t crank like totally dead. That very expensive tester but it’s not worth much. I say it’s the tester because my car will start run with battery from the other car. Definitely the battery.

In my car battery have 6 cell holes and i tested all cell using hydrometer or gravity meter and in 5 cells showing 12.8 gravity and in 1 cell showing 12 after fully charged many times. so it's bad battery or not .Please suggest me because my car battery drains in 2 days no fault on my car my mechanic checked this.

What is that is there any internal short in battery itself?

@@DeepcyclebatterystoreSanDiego do you have to let the battery’s sit for a while before testing the specific gravity. I just had my cart charging and unplugged the cart then test them. Do I need to wait several hours before testing them. Thank you. My cart won’t run for more than 10 minutes and I get 6 volts at each battery.

63,430 auto parts stores in america with four or five people running them all week which makes 253,720 people at the four person rate and they are all battery killers and you know this how??? I assume you have not visited all these stores nor quizzed all these people have you. Lesson: Never put down the competition. You do not possess all of the truth and you don't know all of the people.
