I just bought this unit based on your unpacking and review. I like that this unit can actually accept coins. Gives me something to do with my spare change. The JAMMA compatibility means that I can also upgrade this unit inexpensively with more games later on too. I looked into building my own system from the kits available at a couple of the popular sites but the cost savings just wasn't there once you added the art work, monitor, stick and buttons to their MDF kits. The other sites cost more and still require the user to assemble everything so this is the most cost effective, pre-assembled JAMMA system that accepts coins out there. Thanks for the review.
I'm thrilled to hear that my review helped. The unit was expensive but... Among friends and family, it's a popular toy when I have guests over. If you do change the Jamma PCB, remember that you'll need vertical games, like Contra or most ship shooters. I'm really happy for you! It's a beautiful unit.
The price for this unit really isn't expensive when compared to the kits out there. A decent kit with just the MDF and graphics costs over $300. When you add a monitor, controls, JAMMA board, coin slot, plexi-glass and artwork the price is about the same, but with the kit, you get no warranty and you have to assemble it yourself. So purchasing one of these units is actually a better deal than building from a kit.
Yes, I just got one of these and it has pac-man, ms pac man, jr pac man and pac man plus all set at fast for the second games. My board came with both regular pac mans set fast so I may need to get in on the setup to set it to normal speed. Excellent cabinet for what you get.
@@davepryor72 I really like this cab but I see one glaring problem with the controller layout. Why is the joystick way off to the left and the buttons more in the middle? It would be much better to have the joystick in middle. the 3 fire buttons on the right and the two player 1-2 on the left. Does this bother you at all or do you just get used to it?
I like this I wish I would’ve known about this one before I got the other countertop Pac Man, Space Invaders & Centipede with 2 games on each one shit I would’ve just got this one
Man, thats alot hey. I'm in the process of building mine and its easier than u think. Im taking it slow bit by bit. I've cut the sides, base and control panel out. I suppose it has a jamma board so its seems pretty legit but if price isn't a worry then sweetas. I'm buying a mid or high range small pc for mine so I can put new fighting games on it and have it upgradeable if need to in the future. Nice to see other builds anyway, cheers for the vid m8!!!!
It's a wonderful machine. It works as an actual vending machine that takes quarters. However, since Arcade 1up announced the $299 arcade units; yes, it's a bit expensive. I could have purchased almost 3 Arcade 1up units for the same price.
@@KnowYourVideoGames No, you got a good deal. You have 60 games in that machine...60! I have the Arcade 1 Up centipede cab, and while its nice, my first one was DOA, so I took it back..and that one had issues and Im waiting on the replacement part. Quality issues with these things are rampant! Also, each one at the most has onky 4 games (not including the 399 12 n 1). You can buy every cab 1Up makes and not get 60 games...749 is a good deal. The joyticks and buttons for 1 Up are also low quality. I plan to buy one similar to yours and make a riser to match the height of my centipede cab...then I'm done. Just know IMO you got a good deal!
Great deal bro really good because they have the other countertop games with just 2 games for $199 but this one has over 60 games on it so it’s actually a great deal plus you have to be a fan of the old arcade games to understand that this is a great deal
I don't care about emulation. I like real hardware. However, this is pretty old. I've since sold it. I have ten real arcade cabinets with real hardware now.
Usually, once you've completed a game. It reverts to the main title screen after about 20 seconds or so. You may be able to change this in the settings. Dip Switch 4 I believe.
The unit I purchased had the Pac-Man artwork painted on the side. It's not a sticker. It works with real money as it has the coin slot But more so, I wanted Jamma compatibility. I do have some Jamma boards at home. This allows me to collect and test Jamma boards I purchase on ebay. I am going to buy a bartop kit for horizontal arcade games. It should be pretty inexpensive to build.
Nah. I'm not like that. When you have too many games in a cabinet, you won't play any of them. It's a jamma compatible unit. It's possible to put a Pandora or Elf in it.

You had no problem identifying Dig Dug. 🤯 No clue what Mr.Do! was. Great video. Even better Bartop.
Pac-Man "2" is the sped up version. It rules! I'm saving up for one of these! I can't wait.

Beautiful bartop..
you can build your own 60 in 1 for about $330

I'm going to build a second with a horizontal monitor. I'm confident I couldn't build a unit as nice as this one.
It's cool but i wouldn't pay 800bucks for this but that's just me. Still really cool but i feel you could have done better for the price.

Wow! That’s pretty cool!
Sure is bigger than I thought it would be.
Damn dude I got 2 cabs hooked together for 4 players running off a PC and that was a little over $900

@@KnowYourVideoGames Are the real hardware games multi game units or just one game per cab?
How do you switch to another gane after current game is over. Mine just stays on the game screen i was currently playing. Just got it today

How many does it have 412 or 60? Amazon say 412
Mine had 60 but they offered 412. There's much cheaper now.
They all classic game mr do
It does have Mr Do!
Man, you should have bought the arcade I made. $900 CAD

yeah my first build was about $450 CAD to build. Its a fun project!
Are these the authentic games?
Does Donkey Kong have all 4 levels? The often just have two.
I guess never replied to this. Just noticed it. Donkey Kong only has two levels.
Well you got buster bros but it looks like your missing 1000 more of the real arcade games from the 90s

cool unit but your back ground music is very annoying.
:*(
Doxcade.com has a better bartop than these and only 500$
Very cool. Glad it was worth the price
