There's nothing more satisfying than seeing such a lovely Precision Instrument restored to its former glory. Thanks for sharing.
I agree, thanks for watching
That looks just like the barometer I inherited from my grandparents, except mine says ATCO at the bottom! Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks for watching!
That's a nice one 👌 thanks for the video
Glad you liked it, it was fun to make a longer video showing the whole process
Thanks for the well made video. And I think that is fair enough, if it was meant to be polished you should polish it.👍
And its so satisfying to see the results
My set air thing can’t move how do I fix that please
Purchase an estate barometer. Wanting to calibrate but don’t know how to read it. Local pressure at 30.12. Where do i find the 12?
I have a mercury Fortin stick barometer in the wood case. I need to hang it on the wall.
yes, keeping it upright will keep it working longer.
Mmm.
To keep the brass from tarnishing in the future, do you spray it with lacquer?
You can but it will eventually tarnish again, which means you will have to remove the lacquer to polish again.
