Some will say that Brian Jones wasn't a great musician because he never wrote a song during his time with the Rolling Stones that all he cared about was doing "cover" songs. Though that may be true, he was an exceptional musician giving the Rolling Stones of the 60s their unique sound using many instruments that weren't popular in modern rock n roll culture. However, he found a way to introduce them to the Stones music compositions. Unfortunately, never fully appreciated for his efforts he died of an accidental death in the backyard of his estate in England. RIP Brian Jones. Thank you for sharing the lovely tribute of a young man that certainly left us and the Rock n Roll culture too soon. Just imagine that if he did not leave us what influence would he have on the music world.

I was 19 when Brian died. I instantly felt the loss personally because I loved his work, but I felt the loss for the music world which was an exceptional part of the greater world at the time, not like now. That glory will not return return soon, if ever. Miss you Brian.
Brian was a very early champion of Jimi Hendrix, and it was through him that Jimi got a record contract in the UK. They became very close friends. When Brian's luck turned sour a few years later, Jimi returned the favour by putting him up in homes so that he could rebuild his fragile health. At the very peak of his powers, Brian Jones was the ultimate mid-60s dandy. His grave is still immaculately maintained after over five decades. Gone, never to be forgotten.
Brian Jones played the various percussion instruments on "All Along The Watchtower". That's him playing the "thwack" you hear at the end of each bar in the intro, on an instrument called a "vibraslap".

I didn't know a lot about Brian. But now I understood the reason why Stones could developed their sound dramatically in mid-sixties. Brian was the person who had done it.
Lovely tribute to a fascinating man, thank you. I’ve never bought the “death by misadventure” either but I doubt we’ll ever know the truth. As an older listener, I was around when the Stones had their early hits and the distinct sound they had back then was thanks to Brian’s versatility on different instruments. So often, this gifted man is written off as a “useless druggie” but I believe that’s only from people who don’t truly understand his importance in the early years or don’t *want* to. I enjoyed Mick Taylor’s lovely guitar playing but after a couple of short years, soon tired of the band altogether and nothing they’ve done since has interested me and yes, I’ve heard it all. To this day, the Stones songs I most fondly recall are *all* songs from Brian’s time with the band - something that in itself proves he was not only important, he was integral to the very sound that guaranteed their initial popularity. The band’s output for over 4 decades has imo, been entirely predictable and instantly forgettable, nothing remotely like the magic of the early years. RIP Brian Jones.
@@petrslivinski7481- I'd say they were a better live band with Taylor augmenting Keith, but as far as albums go, Brian was all over everything from 1962-67, that one of a kind avant pop bluesy rock that was lost when he died.
@@joeyhuebner10 They lost two great things that made the Rolling Stones what they truly were great at during the 60s: Brian Jones and The Blues. Though there are many who would argue that he was too messed up from substance abuse and womanizing he did have an ear and eye for the blues and incorporating instruments that many rock bands of the 60s would never use. I personally always felt that the RS of the 60s produced their best music with him. Mick Taylor joined the band but he wasn't allowed, in my opinion, to incorporate the sounds as the previous member had. The band had become the Jagger and Richards with the remaining Rolling Stones and the supporting players. I know that I'll get criticized for my opinion but that how I see it. As good as Mick Taylor was Jagger and Richards never ever gave him the chance and the stage for him to perform and be his very best. Peace. Cheers.
@@petrslivinski7481- I agree with you. It's really sad, because Taylor was and is a great guitarist but by then it was the Glimmer Twins show. I mean look how long it took for them to take Wood off of a salary, its despicable. With or without the drugs, I think Brian would have bailed anyway. I just wish he wouldn't have died, what a great musician he was, and I'm sure with enough encouragement he could have started writing songs.

Back in the day when long hair on boys was new and shocking and outrageous, Brian and his PERFECT hair was the envy of so many young men...who couldn't get their way because of parents, school dress codes, etc. I read somewhere that Brian acknowledged how he was admired and envied for his perfect hair. He knew he could do it while others couldn't...at the time. Yes, I realize Brian was so much more than that. He founded the Rolling Stones and was so instrumental in getting them going and in some of their earlier, more melodious music. An incredible talent.

I've scrolled down and read all the comments and placed my opinions too. Our words unfortunately won't bring back this incredible talented human being to life. In my opinion he hung with the wrong crowd. Hooking up with Anita who offered him hashish and he went with her was a step for him in the wrong direction. For some reason I get this nauseating feeling that she wasn't honest with him. RIP Brian Jones. Always remembered, never forgotten.
I agree. In my opinion Anita.jumped ship when she saw Brian's importance in the group diminishing and saw the writing on the wall. She made a career move to Keith and.thereafter led an idle rich lifestyle, including pension and rent free in Keiths houses in UK and Jamaica. However, I believe she refused all offers from publishers to write a biog. (She.must have signed something) She, of course, didn't need the money. Yes, I concur that she used Brian as a stepping stone. After all she was a part time.model and aspiring actress. Go figure!

And why is it that the girlfriends and wives of famous men are always portrayed as having an "idle rich lifestyle". When I was a kid, I loved the Stones of the 1960's. At camp, we all had nicknames, and mine was Jagger after Mick. I grew into his cocky persona. I remember they played music at the swimming pool and I loved it when they played "Jumping Jack Flash." I was really young but I bought the single. On the flip side was "Child of the Moon." I played it but didn't like it. In this video they played it. I really like it now. Funny how tastes change over time. Brian played so many instruments! I loved when he played the recorder in "Ruby Tuesday." I read a comment after another Rolling Stones video. The person said, "Is there a musical instrument that Brian Jones *didn't* play?"
Brian Jones will always be my favorite Stone. When I was a boy in the Sixties, my brother and I would go record buying and I would check out the Stones' albums and be mesmerized by Brian's look! When I listen to "I'm Free" and "Blue Turns To Grey" I immediately think of Brian! I'll never forget buying Rolling Stones records, as a boy, in the Sixties and just browsing looking at Rolling Stones album covers to see what Brian was wearing. At the time of his death I was living on a farm out side of Ann Arbor. As deeply emersed as he was, came down with pneumonia, folks moved out and I threw my wife out for going with a friend. My mother came around and we got busy cleaning, I suppose I owe my life to her twice. Now I'm old living alone with little more than memories. I'll never forget July 4,1969! My family and late cousin Julio's family were enjoying Independence Day barbecuing at Hansen Dam Park and Lake in Lakeview Terrace, California. My cousin Julio, brother Anthony and I decided to go across the street to buy ice cream and soda pop. A newspaper caught my eye which announced the tragic drowning death of the Beloved Brian Jones the day before on July 3,1969. I was stunned in disbelief! Later that day, my father dropped us off at White's Record Shop in Pacoima and to my amazement he was open! It was a Friday. I spoke to Mr. White about Brian's untimely death and he told me he heard the bad news. Incredibly, he told me The Rolling Stones had released a new Single that very day! I bought my copy of "Honky Tonk Woman" on London Records and went home and gave it countless replays thinking of my favourite Stone Brian. @@rjtv5359 Brian Jones formed the band and he named the band and besides that Brian Jones had been a true Rolling Stone when he went busking over Northern Europe and used to play in the blues and Jazz clubs in and out of relationships with multiple women and so on you get the picture he was a rolling stone long before Mick or Kieth ever played live in front of an audience Brian Jones has been doing that for quite some time ! So yes no Jones no Stones there’s absolute truth to that ! Brian hired Mick , Keith , Bill and Charlie it wasn’t ever the other way round ! Plus Brian was a multi instrument performer even taught mick how to play the harmonica and Keith how to play the blues when they joined up and he got them their first few gigs getting them seen out in the public ! Brian Jones importance in the band was paramount in the beginning and help to save songs like under my thumb and Ruby Tuesday from the scrap heap !

Sadly, Brian couldn't sing nor write songs. He was an intuitive musician. Brian enhanced Mick and Keith's creations with his musicianship. When Mick and Keith began writing, there was obviously a power shift within the Stones. Brian became paranoid and difficult because of the Jagger/Richard success. I was a boy in '65 when I first heard Brian's leadoff Guitar riff on "The Last Time" and it still haunts me to this day! He would captivate you with his use of the English language. I would go record shopping and just stare at Rolling Stones album covers! I especially dig the Out Of Our Heads/December's Children (And Everybody's) album cover with a serious looking Jones crouched on the bottom. I will never forget hearing Brian's opening Guitar riff on the haunting "The Last Time"! It still haunts me to this day. I strolled into a liquor store that day and picked up a newspaper and read the shocking news that Brian Jones had drowned in his swimming pool the day before. I just couldn't believe it! I was shocked and deeply saddened! Later that day, I went to my local record store called "White's Record Store" in my hometown of Pacoima, California. Even though it was a holiday, Mr. White decided to open that Friday. I told Mr. White about Brian's death and he said he had heard the sad news. Incredibly and ironically, the "Honky Tonk Woman" Single was released that day on London Records. I bought it and sat in my room thinking of Brian and thinking that he was no longer on this planet. Brian won't rest or be forgotten until he has justice. He has been working on phsychics and regular people, he wants to be exhumed. For this reason, here we are, still talking about him, ever wonder why his memory is still strong? Cause he won't let himself be forgotten.
My opinion: If he had never met Anita he would still be up there on stage with Keith and Mick. Love or what he thought was love that left him. Well it killed him in a sense.
Mick and Keith basically took all the credit for founding the Stones, and put themselves into the publicity spotlight as the heart and soul of the band. You could tell how it ate at Brian when he would try to push his way into an interview, and the interviewer only wanted to talk with Mick and Keith. That whole thing was the reason Bill Wyman left, as he couldn’t stomach the way Brian had been treated.
Brian Jones, the founder of the Stones, the musical genius of the Stones and the heart and soul of the Stones. The Glimmers may try their damndest to revise history but those of us that were there from the beginning know better. The Glimmers were and still are jealous of his incredible talent which they have to this day been unable to reconcile in their minds. @@suzannep5792 Hindsight being 20/20, Brian should have split with the Stones following the "Aftermath" album in 1966. From then on things got psychologically, emotionally, physically and professionally poisonous for him. Tragic story.
Brian was a true innovator. Sadly like many famous persons throughout history, he self destructed. Without him, the Stones would have never been able to break out of the british invasion crowd with their distictive one of a kind sound of the 60's that he provided. His detractors always mention the fact he never wrote any of the music. To me that is not as important as what he added to the music. What he did was take Mick and Keiths songs and embellish them by adding distinctive flourishes and pretty emotive sounds that were missing from all the other 60s musical groups at the time. Unlike most rock musicians, he grew up with a classical background, and it shows up beautifully in songs like Lady Jane, and Ruby Tuesday, Brians musical contributions are the primary reason why the stones stood out among the other bands at the time. He also pushed the envelope in terms of fashion. His clothes and hair were far more androgynous and edgy then any of the other performers of the time, and in many ways Brian set the outlandish rock star standard of today. Mick and Keith are talented in their own right, which is why they have survived all these decades, but without Brians, good looks and flamboyance and musical contibutions, and charisma in the beginning, I believe they would have died out long ago. With the exception of the fantastic out put of the early to mid 70s, contributions from another under appreciated and marginalized artist Mick Taylor, all these years since the its only rock and roll era of the early 70s, they have sort of coasted on the early sucesses of the 60's and early 70s. The songs they play today at their concerts are always mainly from their heyday. The Brian Jones / Mick Taylor era. Which proves my point entirely.
Brilliant video, tho I was expecting more of a documentary, some fantastic photos of Brian, some I've never seen before. As a kid in the 70's I think my Dad said Brian's death was as a result of an asthma attack. I don't think it was a typical Rock n Roll death/suicide!!! Since 1994 I've had this seed in my head that Brian was murdered or at least killed accidentally, by who and why I'm not so sure!!! One things for sure without Brian there would be no Rolling Stones, or not as we know them, and I have to thank Brian for his musical legacy!!!
I heard that story of his dying of an asthma attack too. Then more recently I heard that he was murdered by his builder. It was a deathbed confession. I loved the Stones when Brian was in it. The last song of theirs that I liked was "Wild Horses." After that, all of their songs were of Mick posturing and screwing around. I haven't liked them since then.

I've read that Richards is still jealous about Brian in the past and future tense. Let's face it we can speculate all we want but the truth needs to be revealed. However, I don't think "the truth" will ever come out. They disliked, and that's putting it mildly, Brian for his enormous musical talent. I still think he did write songs but they won't give credit where credit should be given.

Whilst putting the band together, Brian Jones' initial choice on Lead Vocal was Paul Jones who later went on to success with Manfred Mann. Brian ultimately picked Michael Philip "Mick" Jagger. A very wise choice! Along with Mick joined his good friend Keith "Keef" Richards!

Brain was the musician's musician, but Keith has said that Brian never wrote a new song for the band or even came into the studio with part of a new song they could work on.
He speaks of the "Unholy Trinity"....Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Andrew Oldham who all conspired against Brian. Brian maybe wasn't a song writer, but he was a musical innovative genius. The idea that Brian wasn't a songwriter is a myth. He has left a legacy of his compositions. "Ruby Tuesday," "Eight Miles High" and the soundtrack for "A Degree of Murder. Not to mention his riffs in "Paint It Black," "The Last Time," and "Lady Jane." "Stone Alone" is illuminating as is Paul Trynka's biography "Sympathy for the Devil." Brian Jones is the most misunderstood (and forgotten) man in rock.
Agrippina the Younger 100 % correct. Brian was the Stones. His skills musically were unparalleled amongst his "mates". Intelligent, innovative, self doubt, seeker of unconditional love and always approval from his parents which he never got. He became a dust impression of himself and simply blew away. Such a shame as he could have done exactly what he wanted and been correct in elevating R&B, soul, blues. Too bad the triune did such a number on him.
Stones were always an amazing looking bunch, much more so than the Fab Four. Brian had a lot to do with that. Plus, he played Sitar on Paint it Black and marimbas on Under My Thumb, two of their best songs, plus contributing to many other great tunes. And Under My Thumb was satire, not actually misogynistic.
Even though "Ruby Tuesday" is about a female it could have been included here in tribute to Brian. His dream of a blues band was stolen from him. Brian was a very early champion of Jimi Hendrix, and it was through
him that Jimi got a record contract in the UK.
They became very close friends.
When Brian's luck turned sour a few years later, Jimi returned the
favour by putting him up in homes so that he could rebuild his
fragile health.
At the very peak of his powers, Brian Jones was the ultimate mid-60s
dandy. His grave is still immaculately maintained after over five decades.

Brian Jones played the various percussion instruments on "All Along The Watchtower". That's him playing the "thwack" you hear at the end of each bar in the intro, on an instrument called a "vibraslap".

I didn't know a lot about Brian. But now I understood the reason why Stones could developed their sound dramatically in mid-sixties. Brian was the person who had done it.
Lovely tribute to a fascinating man, thank you. I’ve never bought the “death by misadventure” either but I doubt we’ll ever know the truth. As an older listener, I was around when the Stones had their early hits and the distinct sound they had back then was thanks to Brian’s versatility on different instruments. So often, this gifted man is written off as a “useless druggie” but I believe that’s only from people who don’t truly understand his importance in the early years or don’t *want* to. I enjoyed Mick Taylor’s lovely guitar playing but after a couple of short years, soon tired of the band altogether and nothing they’ve done since has interested me and yes, I’ve heard it all. To this day, the Stones songs I most fondly recall are *all* songs from Brian’s time with the band - something that in itself proves he was not only important, he was integral to the very sound that guaranteed their initial popularity. The band’s output for over 4 decades has imo, been entirely predictable and instantly forgettable, nothing remotely like the magic of the early years. RIP Brian Jones.

They lost two great things that made the Rolling Stones what they truly were great at during the 60s: Brian Jones and The Blues. Though there are many who would argue that he was too messed up from substance abuse and womanizing he did have an ear and eye for the blues and incorporating instruments that many rock bands of the 60s would never use. I personally always felt that the RS of the 60s produced their best music with him. Mick Taylor joined the band but he wasn't allowed, in my opinion, to incorporate the sounds as the previous member had. The band had become the Jagger and Richards with the remaining Rolling Stones and the supporting players. I know that I'll get criticized for my opinion but that how I see it. As good as Mick Taylor was Jagger and Richards never ever gave him the chance and the stage for him to perform and be his very best. Peace. Cheers.
@@petrslivinski7481- I agree with you. It's really sad, because Taylor was and is a great guitarist but by then it was the Glimmer Twins show. I mean look how long it took for them to take Wood off of a salary, its despicable. With or without the drugs, I think Brian would have bailed anyway. I just wish he wouldn't have died, what a great musician he was, and I'm sure with enough encouragement he could have started writing songs.

Back in the day when long hair on boys was new and shocking and outrageous, Brian and his PERFECT hair was the envy of so many young men...who couldn't get their way because of parents, school dress codes, etc. I read somewhere that Brian acknowledged how he was admired and envied for his perfect hair. He knew he could do it while others couldn't...at the time.
Yes, I realize Brian was so much more than that. He founded the Rolling Stones and was so instrumental in getting them going and in some of their earlier, more melodious music. An incredible talent.

In my opinion he hung with the wrong crowd. Hooking up with Anita who offered him hashish and he went with her was a step for him in the wrong direction. For some reason I get this nauseating feeling that she wasn't honest with him. RIP Brian Jones. Always remembered, never forgotten.
I agree. In my opinion Anita.jumped ship when she saw Brian's importance in the group diminishing and saw the writing on the wall. She made a career move to Keith and.thereafter led an idle rich lifestyle, including pension and rent free in Keiths houses in UK and Jamaica. However, I believe she refused all offers from publishers to write a biog. (She.must have signed something) She, of course, didn't need the money.

When I was a kid, I loved the Stones of the 1960's. At camp, we all had nicknames, and mine was Jagger after Mick. I grew into his cocky persona. I remember they played music at the swimming pool and I loved it when they played "Jumping Jack Flash." I was really young but I bought the single. On the flip side was "Child of the Moon." I played it but didn't like it. In this video they played it. I really like it now. Funny how tastes change over time.
Brian played so many instruments! I loved when he played the recorder in "Ruby Tuesday." I read a comment after another Rolling Stones video. The person said, "Is there a musical instrument that Brian Jones *didn't* play?"

I'll never forget buying Rolling Stones records, as a boy, in the Sixties and just browsing looking at Rolling Stones album covers to see what Brian was wearing.

At the time of his death I was living on a farm out side of Ann Arbor. As deeply emersed as he was, came down with pneumonia, folks moved out and I threw my wife out for going with a friend. My mother came around and we got busy cleaning, I suppose I owe my life to her twice.
Now I'm old living alone with little more than memories. When I pickup a guitar and play these old songs, it does bring it all back,
1962, The Rolling Stones became my favorite band. I was 12.
I also was instantly was inspired by Brian and he’s my inspiration to start playing instruments and to start getting into rock and singing and my dad even has his autograph and sometimes I sneak in his room and just look at because it’s so cool brian jones will forever be my rock rock idol and inspiration

I'll never forget July 4,1969!
My family and late cousin Julio's family were enjoying Independence Day barbecuing at Hansen Dam Park and Lake in Lakeview Terrace, California.
My cousin Julio, brother Anthony and I decided to go across the street to buy ice cream and soda pop.
A newspaper caught my eye which announced the tragic drowning death of the Beloved Brian Jones the day before on July 3,1969.
I was stunned in disbelief!
Later that day, my father dropped us off at White's Record Shop in Pacoima and to my amazement he was open! It was a Friday.
I spoke to Mr. White about Brian's untimely death and he told me he heard the bad news.
Incredibly, he told me The Rolling Stones had released a new Single that very day!
I bought my copy of "Honky Tonk Woman" on London Records and went home and gave it countless replays thinking of my favourite Stone Brian.
I turned 12 years old a.month later and began attending Pacoima Junior High School in September,1969.

So yes no Jones no Stones there’s absolute truth to that ! Brian hired Mick , Keith , Bill and Charlie it wasn’t ever the other way round ! Plus Brian was a multi instrument performer even taught mick how to play the harmonica and Keith how to play the blues when they joined up and he got them their first few gigs getting them seen out in the public ! Brian Jones importance in the band was paramount in the beginning and help to save songs like under my thumb and Ruby Tuesday from the scrap heap !

Mick and Keith basically took all the credit for founding the Stones, and put themselves into the publicity spotlight as the heart and soul of the band. You could tell how it ate at Brian when he would try to push his way into an interview, and the interviewer only wanted to talk with Mick and Keith. That whole thing was the reason Bill Wyman left, as he couldn’t stomach the way Brian had been treated.

Brian Jones, the founder of the Stones, the musical genius of the Stones and the heart and soul of the Stones. The Glimmers may try their damndest to revise history but those of us that were there from the beginning know better. The Glimmers were and still are jealous of his incredible talent which they have to this day been unable to reconcile in their minds. This results in them ignoring his very existence and why Keith now states the Stones were Ian Stewart's group. This post would not be complete without a hearty "fuck you" to Andrew Loog Oldham.

Brian was a true innovator. Sadly like many famous persons throughout history, he self destructed. Without him, the Stones would have never been able to break out of the british invasion crowd with their distictive one of a kind sound of the 60's that he provided. His detractors always mention the fact he never wrote any of the music. To me that is not as important as what he added to the music. What he did was take Mick and Keiths songs and embellish them by adding distinctive flourishes and pretty emotive sounds that were missing from all the other 60s musical groups at the time. Unlike most rock musicians, he grew up with a classical background, and it shows up beautifully in songs like Lady Jane, and Ruby Tuesday, Brians musical contributions are the primary reason why the stones stood out among the other bands at the time.
He also pushed the envelope in terms of fashion. His clothes and hair were far more androgynous and edgy then any of the other performers of the time, and in many ways Brian set the outlandish rock star standard of today. Mick and Keith are talented in their own right, which is why they have survived all these decades, but without Brians, good looks and flamboyance and musical contibutions, and charisma in the beginning, I believe they would have died out long ago. With the exception of the fantastic out put of the early to mid 70s, contributions from another under appreciated and marginalized artist Mick Taylor, all these years since the its only rock and roll era of the early 70s, they have sort of coasted on the early sucesses of the 60's and early 70s. The songs they play today at their concerts are always mainly from their heyday. The Brian Jones / Mick Taylor era. Which proves my point entirely.

Brilliant video, tho I was expecting more of a documentary, some fantastic photos of Brian, some I've never seen before. As a kid in the 70's I think my Dad said Brian's death was as a result of an asthma attack. I don't think it was a typical Rock n Roll death/suicide!!! Since 1994 I've had this seed in my head that Brian was murdered or at least killed accidentally, by who and why I'm not so sure!!! One things for sure without Brian there would be no Rolling Stones, or not as we know them, and I have to thank Brian for his musical legacy!!!
I heard that story of his dying of an asthma attack too. Then more recently I heard that he was murdered by his builder. It was a deathbed confession. I loved the Stones when Brian was in it. The last song of theirs that I liked was "Wild Horses." After that, all of their songs were of Mick posturing and screwing around. I haven't liked them since then.

There are too many witnesses and possibilities as to what actually took place. Brian was treated badly by Jagger and Richards (more so). I've read that Richards is still jealous about Brian in the past and future tense. Let's face it we can speculate all we want but the truth needs to be revealed. However, I don't think "the truth" will ever come out. They disliked, and that's putting it mildly, Brian for his enormous musical talent. I still think he did write songs but they won't give credit where credit should be given.

Read Bill Wyman's book Stone Alone. A hard read, but tells the story.
He speaks of the "Unholy Trinity"....Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Andrew Oldham who all conspired against Brian. Brian maybe wasn't a song writer, but he was a musical innovative genius. He brought a musical variety to the Rolling Stones that left an obvious void when he was gone. God bless Brian

The idea that Brian wasn't a songwriter is a myth. He has left a legacy of his compositions. "Ruby Tuesday," "Eight Miles High" and the soundtrack for "A Degree of Murder. Not to mention his riffs in "Paint It Black," "The Last Time," and "Lady Jane." "Stone Alone" is illuminating as is Paul Trynka's biography "Sympathy for the Devil." Brian Jones is the most misunderstood (and forgotten) man in rock.
Agrippina the Younger 100 % correct. Brian was the Stones. His skills musically were unparalleled amongst his "mates". Intelligent, innovative, self doubt, seeker of unconditional love and always approval from his parents which he never got. He became a dust impression of himself and simply blew away. Such a shame as he could have done exactly what he wanted and been correct in elevating R&B, soul, blues. Too bad the triune did such a number on him.

The best time for the Stones was with Brian Jones. He formed the band and created his music and without Brian they never sounded so good again.

Stones were always an amazing looking bunch, much more so than the Fab Four. Brian had a lot to do with that. Plus, he played Sitar on Paint it Black and marimbas on Under My Thumb, two of their best songs, plus contributing to many other great tunes. And Under My Thumb was satire, not actually misogynistic.
The stones should change their name to the zombies.
