I’m experiencing the same issue with my hardware, on one skate,
Now I’m 227lbs and on my second set of 909s
    Love them
BUY!!!! Buy buy intuition liners! They change the skate

I honestly will also probably buy another pair of 909s, they work amazingly! But I don't have any issues with the Them liners, I think they are great.

I think the stock liner is amazing and at a great price on its own as well. Very comfortable.

I had the same problems with the bridge system. I had to replace them with razors cult hardware

    Having watched your whole video
I will say, I bought the preorder 909s in 2020
    And they were flawless
The hardware on my 2022s well not so much but
    I love these skates
So 10 bucks and I’ll fix it

I think the skates are great but I'm not spending an additional $10 when I already dropped $200-$300 on brand new skates. Keep in mind you're buying plastic lol. But I will hold the company/retailer accountable just like any other company or industry. I reached out and had my hardware replaced.

Try cabinet liner to help with the slippery insert.

Which store did you order from? Did the box come in good condition? I’m a sneaker head so I like to have everything original

Rollerwarehouse, I ain't gonna lie the box for the skates came thrashed. The sole plates don't even come in a box from Them.

Do you think maybe when the screw clicks and falls out and also the fact that you rounded the square hole on the sole plate, that you may be doing them up too tight. You’re a big buy that probably produces a lot of torque in your forearms when you tighten nuts and bolts because you are stronger than the average man because of your size your “tight” will be more than most peoples. Both problems seem to be caused by tightening things up too much. I get they have to be tight but maybe not to your max strength. Just a thought. I’m a joiner and as an example if I put a screw into hardwood with an impact driver it will screw threw screw into the timber til it is flush but if you keep going after that, because of the power of the impact driver, it will continue to turn the screw but it will then strip the threads you have created in the timber because the head will not sink into the timber anymore because the timber is too hard. It’s the same with machine boots on skates. Once they are nipped up tight, if you overdo it, it will strip the threads, which is the “click you are hearing, and then the screw/bolt will fall out. Aluminium will strip extremely easily because it is soft. It’s the same with bike components. If you have a steel bolt going into aluminium you have to be careful how tight you do it up because when you overdo it the steel will strip the aluminium threads. If the sole plates are plastic or aluminium and the fixings are steel the. They will strip very easily. Thoughts?

I think all that can be taken into serious consideration, however they were like that when I purchased brand new

@@thenightspydercollector8066 yeah when I bought my skates I thought I might as well pick up a hardware replacement kit. I thought I probably wasted my money thinking “what’s the chance I’ll ever lose a piece?”. I guess I vindicated my purchase very quickly. I live on the other side of the world so it’s not too easy to get replacement parts. Most shops don’t even want to hear from me.
