Don't know if Uwe will ever see this -- but I have the Brazillian Rosewood guitar he refused to accept from Roman Jajicek at Rozawood Guitars in the Czech Republic in 2005. At the time I bought it, it had 45 year old BRW back and sides, and a 20 year old Spruce top - both tuned to E (according the tag inside the guitar). The New York dealer who sold it to me discounted it to $3200 because Uwe didn't want it. Of course, now the woods are 17 years older in age and I have kept the guitar in pristine condition. It was recently valuated at over $20,000. I have owned several high-end guitars throughout my life, but this one it far beyond any I have owned (or likely will ever own). Everyone who has heard it say it is the most beautiful sounding guitar they have every heard. Thank you, Uwe, for passing on this gift I somehow accidently stumbled upon. 🙂
