10:45, Interestingly enough, after Black r13, KaTrain is perfectly happy as White to tenuki and approach Black's lower right corner at r5. You are worrying that if you don't play another move to prevent Black from getting sente in the upper right corner later on, they might do so. That's right. But when you choose to play another gote move immediately, you give them sente anyway. Your analysis at 12:00 is correct until Black connects at q18. After that, if you would tenuki, indeed black can kill. You should respond at s13 to stay alive and Black can then tenuki. But letting Black have sente with q18 isn't a cost that is greater than the benefit you gained ealier by playing a big opening move rather than responding locally to Black's r13.

Yes I thought about tenuki away, however just having the comfort that I know my group is alive was really what I needed in a game against a stronger opponent. lol
Maybe if I am better later then I would be more confident in playing more loosely... hahaha

i recently learn about bad and good shape. like knight move, broken table, etc and sometime it works good or bad. the thing is, i dont really understand bout investment like even i win the side or corner, my opponent stone somehow build wall that its hard for me to get some moio in the center.

Yea that took me awhile to kind of learn too…if anything I’m still learning it. I would say start asking yourself if the move is sente or gote?
If you want we can do a correspondence teaching game on OGS :) I might be able to help you out.
