I have the exact same windows. The surveyor advised me to keep on top of clearing out the moss as it absorbs rainwater and prevents it draining away properly. Maybe fit vents in the wardrobe doors?
Ah right, we like the design of those windows and make sure we keep them nice and clean. We fitted some vents but still getting the same issue, not as bad though! maybe more vents haha
Love your dogs. Anyway we’re live aboard peeps for 5 years now. It’s taken 4? Years to get the hang of it. Condensation, amazing how much we expell .. scared us to death when we found water in the back corner plus a little window leak. Our mate has a 200k brand new narrowboat and these issues even turn up on theirs. Ours is a fraction of that so we feel a bit smug 😂. Don’t listen to the daft saying BOAT…BUNG ON ANOTHER THOUSAND. You will hear it. It’s rubbish. Take care be lucky
Love your username 😂 that's ace! Aww thanks, the dogs are mad as you'll soon get to see. One thing I've noticed after making this video is that our boat isn't that bad after all. I've seen some real bad case of damp, so I'm not feeling so worried after all now 😂
Hi both, congrats Pete on the qualification. Good to see you in familiar territory. I live in Somerset now but lived many years in Redditch. My aunt lives in Earlswood and used to walk daily around the lakes - she’s a bit too old to do that now unfortunately. Her cousin lives local to and is one of the volunteer lock operators.
Thanks for reaching out and appreciate your kind words. Somerset is lovely, I'd love to live there one day. Shame about your sister but what luck she had going round there most days eh! What locks does your other sister work on? I hope you're sheltering well from all these high winds! We've just lost the front of the boat out the mooring pin and got it wedged across the canal, oh the joys 😂😂😂
@@geecee4724 sorry lol, I read the comment then replied and as I was replying, I forgot what the relation was to you and couldn't see the comment and was so far typing it, I just had to guess haha
