I really liked that you brought up the point of moisture.For anyone who is new to the channel, also bear in mind products will literally do nothing for you if you aren't drinking plenty of water to stay internally hydrated.You will suffer from dry scalp flakes if you aren't drinking plenty of water. I've experienced this personally. Washing/combing all those dead skin flakes out of your head isn't a pleasant site to see.
Thanks for giving game with the waves man. I have thin curly hair and the products I use for some reason lay my hair down if I brush the products in my hair then put the durag on for a few hours. But if I like brush my hair my waves stand up and then just turn into curls. Anyway to keep my waves laid down even while brushing?
The concept of curls layed down is what I'm trying to emulate. I have type 4c, high porosity hair at a 2-3 guard length. How can I lay my curls down to form waves with out getting the traditional 1.5 cut, constant brushing, and wearing a durag for 3 months. The closest I got was doing a wash n style with coconut shampoo and using coconut oil after but it only got me untrained ripples that were very hard to untangle. Do you have any suggestions?
I suggest you get a low cut with a 1 guard or no guard and start fresh, assuming you didn't have waves previously. its hard to lay down curls that are not trained to lay down at the length u have now. brushing your hair trains your curls to lay down. you can technically get waves at the length you have now but given your hair type and your hair length it would be best to cut your hair low and start from there as your connections won't be the best. wash and styles will be the best thing for u at the hair length u have now. brushing is the only thing that will get you waves and maintain them.

Ye,that happend to me I used alot of products n when i used hard brush n Combed my hair up alot of dead skin came out of my hair.Combing up the wolf
