- Cut from Making film of 2013 GD OOAK The Final in Seoul & World Tour DVD
On April 27, 2013, GD was performing in the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan when he injured his right leg. More specifically, he sprained his right ankle but showed his unrelenting fighting spirit by choosing to continue performing that day.
After wrapping up his dome performance he went online and shared, "Today I wrapped up my performance in Osaka, but I got injured on stage. I'm so sorry. I wanted to give you all an amazing show. I'll be sure to get as much rest as I can today and tomorrow you'll see me in a better state! Thank you to those who came to the concert today and stayed until the very end."
Despite needing 2 weeks or so for the sprain to heal completely, GD finished the rest of his solo tour in Japan as planned.

When the dance crew carried him and when one of the Kwon twins gave him a piggy back, it was really touching. It just proves how much of a family they are. This is why I love YG Entertainment.
For GD haters, they just saw GD at this level. He (and BB member) struggling at their predebut & debut too. Their sweaty, tears & blood are same (or maybe worse) than your biased. He called KING, one of the best artists, musician, performer, fashionista, producer, not for nothing. I know, many artists still continue their song when something happen, but he didnt just continue his song, but continue his concert that day & the day after. He feel sorry & thankful for Dae & Tae. When someone shoutout "You work to hard even when you injured" he said "You do the same", i'm teary.
Recently i read, he even cried & blamed himself coz he is sick and out of voice, so he cant give his best for fans.
I dont even get it, why he have haters? But thankfully, his lover are bigger than his haters.

I think the most heart wrenching moment was 2:22 You can see him trying to hide his pain and I've no idea how he even pulled everything off and can still sing and smile through the pain. And when Daesung came to visit/check on him, he had that guilty face, like he felt bad for having troubled Daesung. Gosh how do you find someone so precious.

It's a petition asking them to make an action towards Dispatch for release false and malicious rumours as news. Our boys are mind their own business, serving in military quietly. GD now have his leg in cast because of ankle surgery and have a dislocated shoulder pain but he still serve in army. And got his medical records spread on sns by a fellow soldier, that violated his human rights. And Dispatch still witch hunt him to ruin his reputation. Remember what they did to TOP last year. Also articles about GD's dating, then false news about he was trying to avoid enlistment, accusing TOP for recorded flower road while enlisting, Daesung hospitalized "just because" laryngitis when his throat is always in a serious problem for years... then Seungri's dating news around his comeback. Just a half of 2018 and reports attacking Bigbang non stop like no other artists in hiatus ever experienced..

I know that feel. I can't even breathe for the first couple minutes after I sprained my ankle. GD still managed to carry on with the performance. Such an amazing boy.

All idols should see this video and learn one or two things from it. Especially, no matter how popular u are, how rich u are, stay humble. Gd although he is so popular but he still bow to the staffs. Thats what I like the most about him, he shows respect to people no matter their position. Some idols nowadays doesnt have any respect at all. Also, he still hasn't fully recover but yet he still continue with his concert, that shows how he wanted to just not disappointing his fan, he gives his all to his fans despite his ankle injury. And his prayer at the back tho so much love, showing how he cares for everyone and vice versa for his fans and all the staffs, we are one big family. ♡♡

I love how he acted as if everything was normal after the fall. It must have hurt a lot but he still smiled and sang. He really cares about his fans. That's why GD is a Legend man!
This video was made to show GD's professionalism even when he's injured, but what struck me was his kindness and politeness to the whole staff. He was calm and not shouting to them. In return, they love him back. All of them are purely concerned for his safety. When a staff told him that he was working very hard, he told her that everybody's working hard, not just him. He is truly a king with a heart! Also, Taeyang and Daesung are kind, supportive and funny souls. Wow! We miss you, Bigbang!
You can see how people around him cares not just because he is the star, but because he is a good person.

GD is a real great artist he's the best, even injured kept working hard!!! really proud of you Jiyongiiieee ^_^ i assure you that an injury like that is verry painfull i've been injured at my right ankel too in 2012, i coulden't walk for 2 months and i get reinjured at the same ankel 3 months ago, even now i can't walk for a long distance because it hurts when i do :( and it doesn't heal completely, so GD you're amaaazzzing big love to our Jiyongiiiiiiie sarangheyoooo ^.^
i know how you feel, injured my leg 2 years a got last year i injured it again. And i am still afraid of doing any activities. Ahhh our poor ankles whats up to them !

In YG Entertainment, you can clearly see the difference between being an idol and being an ARTIST. This right here is pure professionalism. While watching this, I remembered Big Bang's stage back in 2009 (not sure, correct me if I'm wrong) where their background music suddenly crashed but they still continued singing with GD's beatbox. Kudos, Mr. Yang Hyun Suk.
Its not just amazing how Daesung and TaeYang that helped him out.

I was at that Osaka concert when he hurt his ankle.
You could tell that he was really upset that his injured ankle was preventing him from performing to the fullest for his fans.
It was still a great concert tho, even if he had to be carried around in the end. In fact, for me, that make it even more special.
When daesung said that "even if it's 4:30 in the morning he'll be there for GD I teared up so hard. GD is so loved and he loves everyone back just as harder. ❤

If my ankle get sprained badly, I would just want to lie down on my bed grimacing in pain the whole day and not do anything. GD walked around for 2 hours, tried to smile for the fans while singing in pain. RESPECT!

지디 저 다리 처음 다친게 2011년 그때도 다리 다친채 일콘 투어 돌았고 2013년 또 다친 후 쉬지 못하고 2016이였나 그때도 다리 아파서 팬미팅에 한쪽발로 줄넘기했었고 0.to.10 오사카스테디움 때도 중간에 스텝들이 다리 주무르고있음
주간아이돌 줄넘기 한다는 말에 혼자 뒤에서 발목 돌리고 있고 2017 월드투어때는 살인적 스케줄에 무대에서 떨어지기도 했고

Accidentally spotted this video....... still remember this incident, after GD finished up all his concerts with his injury beautifully, the crutch he was using even became one of his fashion theme, and fans (including me :)) love it. He even continue using the crutch on stage after recovered. lol, power of G-dragon...... unbelievable!!! FULL REPECT !!!

This is why I think YG entertainment artists are favourites in the industry. The willpower, the endless support be it from their group or staff and fans is a real rare, wonderful, touching sight to behold. And also the dancers, staff, the physical trainer(Hwangssabu i think) and the fans. Truly the best!

I know that Big Bang has a great relationship between them, but there is something about the incident that happened from Daesung & GD's scandal (which occurred on the same year) made these two close together and build a precious bond. I sprained my ankle when i had ballet training a few days before my concert and it shits like hell, and i dont have to sing and i dont have to do fan service.
He continued smiling and performing as tho nothing happen, i mean, his lips literally turned all white and right after he continued rehearsal for the second day.
I mean, he can change all the cues right away and get his backups to coordinate with him overnight.
This is pure madness.. that second all i had in mind was, GD DO YOU NOT WANT YOUR LEG ANYMORE

Don't be silly and dramatic. Professional ballerinas get injections in their ankles so they don't feel pain and perform an entire show on pointe. That's the job! GD was very professional but honestly no artist should have to keep performing on with a serious injury...Fans would understand since health is really important!

I have sprained my ankle twice and believe you me that sharp pain after you sprained it and pain gets worst the next day... Ji Yong works so hard, I hope he rests once in a while. I mean I would love to see him/them on stagr but I would understand if they would reschedule due to health condition.
