Kathmandu to Hetauda

Today in this video, I am going to show you the road from Kathmandu to Hetaunda through Kanti Lokpath after the flood and landslide, and I will give information about how this road was built 60 years ago.
Kanti Lokpath, a short distance connecting Kathmandu to Hetaunda, is Nepal's first road built with domestic investment. The track of this road, which started in 2012, was opened in 2016. Despite the changes in various arrangements in the country, the construction work was slow, but after the formation of the federal structure, the construction work was accelerated.
Out of 84 km road, 48 km towards Makwanpur and 36 km towards Lalitpur.
Even though the government started the construction work as an alternative route from Kathmandu to Hetaunda with special priority, the construction of Kanti Lokpath was initially progressed at a very slow pace.
This track was opened about 60 years ago.
This 79 km long road is connected from Tikabhairav ​​Bridge in Lalitpur to Buddha Chowk in Makwanpur.
This road can be reached in about 90 kilometers through Satdobato in Lalitpur, Sunakothi, Chapagaon, Tikabhairav, Tinpane Bhanjyang, Jhankridanda, Chhapeli, Kalche, Bagmati River, Baguwa, Thingan, Alevanjang in Makwanpur, Buddhachowk in about 3 hours.
Now that Kanti has become Lokpath, agriculture and tourist areas have developed, economic activities have changed in the lifestyle of the locals in the remote parts of Lalitpur and the northern parts of Makwanpur.
