When one completes traditional required to slaughter a cow and also pay your master, as to thank him or her in giving you sacred tools to perform and carry out duties of fully fledge traditional healer, now she doesn't have a cow thank or pay her senior who have help her to become a traditional healer and her colleagues are unsympathetic towards judging from their attitude. Something along those lines.

It's Zulu ( I guess you heard about His Majesty King Shaka, this is part of the Zulu tribes teachings, and traditions but to a specific group which performs Zulu traditional rituals, in healing and helping people to connect with ancestry spirits within a family lineage. Its quitely an interesting teaching and a practise.It even helps the nation to communicate with god.
Yes other tribes like Xhosas, Swatis etc do have a similar traditional healer as well, performing same rituals within the community as well. I think those people are held at the highest esteem, they also practice traditional medicine.
