I own the BAIC X55 Premium, have it for abt 6 months now. It's an awesome car, I test drove the Chery tiggo 4 and 7, the OMODA has the same engine as those. The X55 is head and shoulders above, way more powerful, it's fun to drive, the Chery tiggo 4 and 7 do nothing when you put your foot down... There are no competitors to it at this price point when you bring the power and torque figures, 130kw and 305 torque. I'm averaging 8.5l to the 100, mixed highway and inner roads. If you want toys and tech, go haval or Chery, if you want performance and semi luxury on a budget, pick this car. In terms of reliability, I took a wrong turn whilst on holiday, ended up on a crazy 4X4 trail, drove an hour on it , lost cell signal, this car got my family and I out of that terrible situation. It will not fall apart on you. Cheers
I bought Beijing Baic in 2023 with stunning look of it inside and outside. 2024 I was in an accident , to my surprise it has taken two months wating for the parts to arrive in SA. I am so annoyed , and I love this car too much. Its a warning if you want to buy them. I will still buy it for its security and comfort.
Again , no mention of apple car play / android auto. Any integration whatsoever ? One would think in This day n age, that would be one of the primary points to cover ?

I would love your guys review on the Omoda 5....i cant decide between the Biac Beijing or the Omoda 5. Would love your intake
The previous jorno said the Baic is like a kwid 😭😭😂
@@cowbalala Which BAIC product are they comparing with a Kwid, certainly not the Beijing
Thanks for the comment. We're working on getting behind the wheel of the Omoda
Please do 6:16 the biac Jeep copy.

Before u buy the car ,check the back side A/C …it’s seem no air coming…it’s just decoration
It works but it goes through the glove box so if you have something blocking it it won't blow nicely
Very nicely done!
Does the car have an exterior 360 view where camera or digital ? Does it show the front or just the back
The new plus version does
Does it have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
Good question. No, you can mirror your phone via an App, but the BAIC doesn't currently sync with either CarPlay or Android Auto
@@carcouplesa thanks for the response 🙏🏾
how much is it ?
Pricing starts at R394 000 and this top-spec Premium version sells for R454 900
How are you finding the parking sensors? I recently bought this for my wife, and the beeping is endless. Any advice on how to turn it off perhaps?
Yes, Chinese cars do like to beep. I can only think that you could ask the dealership to somehow mute - or disable this function
Hopefully it will get sorted out with the software update... There's two updates required
You need to change front plates to smaller plates, the sensors sense the normal long plates.
Можете, могете 😊
NICE CAR
🙏🙏
aye, guys....in addition, get out of the car and show us some more on the features.

I thought we covered this in a previous reply. In order to pair your smartphone to the BAIC's infotainment system, you need to use another App
