Love the quality 4k 60FPS I'm guessing your using the iPhone 12 pro or pro max.The Boombox did better than I thought it would but lower volumes really can't compare the Boombox is tuned better at the volume since the soudboxx was bearly putting out power and sounded congested but higher volumes much louder, wider soundstage and more upper and mid bass the Boombox 2 still has deeper bass surprisingly. Keep up the good work 👍
Wow what a coincidence that is the exact same phone I use for my videos and now I look back at it they do look the exact same i just export in 30fps due to my editor. My Z Fold 3 is my new camera but I'm sending it back today because it is defective 😮💨
From listening to both these products in person I can wholeheartedly tell anyone reading this that SB and this JBL are not even remotely comparable, The soundboks absolutely crushes in real life!
If you use it on bass+ mode outside you will be amazed! The bass goes very deep on lower volumes and it has some good clarity to the sound aswell. You can feel the bass in your chest from several meters away outdoors if it is on medium volume. Although on max volume the bass is not as deep and it can distort sligtly if you are very close to the speaker. But it is loud AF and will impress anyone. Pls check out our other videos on the soundboks 3 to hear some more sound on it.
2 alto ts310 with some car invertor would be wayyyyyy louder (136 dB), better sounding with more than double the bass, Each 10kg, stereo sound, real stereo with left and right channel and wayyyy cheaper(240€ Each), not 1000€ Each like the soundboks 3.
I have a question.. if you push your left passive radiator, the other side comes out and then comes back slowly? or it remains still? mine if I push the passive radiator, the other side comes out and then comes back slowly even if I'm still pushing the other side. differently the jbl xtreme if I push one side, the other side goes out but it remains still till I leave my hand from pushing the passive radiator. So it is normal for the JBL Boombox 2 to have an air leak?
On my boombox 2 it doesen't act in the same way as yours. So I think that something could be wrong with yours so you may wana check that out. There could be some sort of opening somewhere on the speaker.
You have to hear both in real life to tell but the boombox 2 does focus much more on treble than the soundboks and thats why it can sound a bit clearer for those who like a lot of treble. But on max volume it becomes too bright in my opinion and the soundboks 3 just sounds more neutral. Also remember that the boombox 2 has stereo sound because it has two woofers and two tweeters whereas the soundboks does not have stereo sound.
This is a wired test to me . You don't compare apples to steaks. Stay within the same category so soundboks compared to jbl party box would make a lot more sense to me. And JBL boombox compared to soundkoks go would make more sense . In your test for me the sound goes to the JBL and the volume to the soundboks. But that's obvious because you are comparing 2 different categories. Also whenever people do these tests on RUclips I thing a little Decibel Meter shown at the camera distance would help.
The soundboks 3 is such a dissappointment, zero deep bass, just upper bass and very bad highs, in my opinion it is a big step back from the soundboks 2. the boombox 2 has deeper, better sounding bass and much better highs. It is only just not as loud as the soundboks.
Here is the best answer I can give you now. The boombox 2 focuses too much on the deeper side of the bass. It plays deep bass a lot but the soundboks can reach a bit deaper when it needs to. The bad thing about the boombox 2s bass is that mid and upper bass is not strong and that is something that it lacks. While the soundboks might focus more on mid bass but it just covers the intire bass spectrum better than the boombox and it definitely overall has more bass than the boombox. That is why the boombox might sound deeper with the bass but overall the SB performs better. When it comes to the highs the boombox has advantage with having stereo sound. That is why the boombox might sound clearer when standing close to the speaker. But it focuses a bit two much on treble in my opinion while the SB just has a more neutral sound. If you get two soundbokses on stereo mode then you will definitely hear some awesome stereo sound. On max volume the boombox 2 sounds way to bright with too much treble and it definitely lacks mids. While the SB DEFINETLY gets way louder which is it's biggest advantage like you said. But just understand that the SB sounds more neutral on max volume aswell and it might distort slightly but you wont really notice it. Lastly when comparing the SB3 to the SB2 they have about the same bass if the SB3 is set to bass+ mode. Otherwise the SB3 does sound a bit cleaner than the SB2 and they both get just as loud.
The boombox 2 is wayy better on bass, and that matters. There is too much upper bass so it's clear that the sound can't be neutral. Something is boosted so... . It's true that the boombox 2 pushes mids and highs at max volume, trying to keep that 45hz hum and lacks some punch and the sound can become scretchy. But the soundboks's bass is a step down. Not because of the woofers, not the Amp. Just the enclosure. You know why? The soundboks 2 had a lod of farth with those front bass reflex ports and it was just ugly. This one has 0 port Noise, but for that, They tuned it higher(70-100hz). Oluv's gadgets made a measurement, s-o check it out. I know that în his video the Sb3 was not on bass+ mode, but that change only the amound of phisycal bass that the speaker can put out, not the raw frequency response în the low side. You have never heard a jbl partybox 100 which goes almost as deep as the boombox 2, but it still has some good amount of punch even at max vol, where it doesn't reduce the bass as much as you would expect. The jbl partybox 100 sounds better than te Sb3, at max but it is just half of the Sb3's volume. Still 2 of those would make a great combo, but at a Sb3 you would need a mixer and a separate subwoofer, because it has 0 low bass. Let me explain. It does have low bass, but it is drowned by the upper bass and mostly the enclosure is tuned too high so the low bass can't be that hearable, even if it is there.
And neutral lound means flat response, which the soundboks doesn't have AT all. Of course the partybox 100 doesn't have it either. For that you have the riva festival which has a constant sound with 0 sound change, which means 0 bass reduction up to maximum. Or, a cheaper option audio pro a36 or teufel ultima 40 aktiv.
boombox has clearly and low bass vs soundboks 3 has boomy bas and little bit louder. but i like how compared boombox with the speaker that is bether then 310
Yes the bass on the soundboks is more boomy and suits better to outdoor listening. The volume difference can't be shown in this video because the mic can't really pick up how much louder the soundboks is. In real life the soundboks 3's max volume makes the boombox 2 feel like a toy
@@soostieger No we don't think that the 310 has better bass but it focuses more on deep bass than the soundboks. Everyone has their own preference and for party the bass on the soundboks is better because it makes the bass feel more boomy which suits for party. The loudness is the best thing with the soundboks ofcourse and you have to hear both of these speakers in real life to really tell how they sound. We have heard both speakers and even recorded a difference between them
The boombox 2 focuses more on deeper bass and has stereo sound which the soundboks doesn't have. But the soundboks is way louder and it has more bass because the boombox has two 4 inch woofers while the soundboks has two 10 inch woofers.
I didn't know about that but if they are the same price then the boombox 3 can't be so much better overall. I think the difference between boombox 1 and 2 will be the same with boombox 2 and 3.

Soundwise, JBL is 100% better. The soundboks is too much mid/upper bass and the mids/vocal is way too recessed. Also I'm not sure but the soundboks sound like a mono speaker, the separation is so poor.
In my opinion the soundboks has better separation, much more boomy bass and just sounds more neutral than the boombox. Yes the boombox has stereo sound which the soundboks doesen't. But I think that I might have stood to close to the soundboks when recording because it has so much bass that it is overwhelming at that distance and that is probably why it distorted the sound from the soundboks slightly.
