Well for the record it's my car and the inly thing that broke was a rear axles it took me 2 hours to fix. It's very common on these to fail I rather brake a cheap axles than a expensive diff or gearbox

I was ready to flinch but nothing happened except what looked like a bad shift (to me). The average person won't be able to tell unless you pay attention to what is flying out from under the car or if you know what went wrong with the drivetrain by the noise.

I’ve been there, it’s in the Netherlands. At the end there is a wide corner to the left so plenty of room to brake.

These cars are notorious for braking diffs because its the same diff as in a 3.0 tdi... Even the stock engine cars brake diffs on a regular if they are launched many times

the hp are secondary. the torque plays the role here. and here it is the case that the gearbox can withstand 1000nm. but these are already reached at 750ps

They definetly not made to take torque of some idiot boosting it to 1000 horsepower. Stock power is around 500-600hp. To get it to 1000 there is a gigantic increase it torque. Stuff in a car is made to spec not "spec plus overhead till 1100hp". Stock A6 axles are not weak, they are meant to take 500-600nM at very least because of V6 TDi among other turbo motors.

The transmission can take it, its the diff that cannot. As long as u limit the torque there won't be much tension on gearbox

Da hätte man wohl vorher eine verstärkte Eingangswelle verbauen müssen. Mir ist auch erst die Originale gebrochen anschließend die Verstärkte und nun eine mit größerem Durchmesser verbaut. Nun hält alles auf der 1/4 Meile bei ca. 1.400NM 👌💪
Beim c7? Welche Leistung/ Drehmoment? Ich hatte stage 2 760ps @1000nm, das hält seit 100.000km.
Aber natürlich nur auf der Straße, keine 1/4 mile rennen 🙂
