    How about a step by step instructions for casting from How many lb. Of aluminum? to how to melt, carry and pour , time to cool to digging it up cleaning & mounting ?

    The only problem I really have with this is that Carpenter ants in most places are dying out. They aren't invasive either.

    Pest Control guy says, "This is a new colony. There is DEFINITELY a mother colony and likely several other sub-colonies larger than this one within roughly a hundred feet or less.

    I’ve noticed carpenter ants are not that extravagant in the makin of there community. Just one hallway leading to a few rooms like they don’t want the in-laws staying too long!🤷🏻‍♂️

      Yeah, there's only a few types of ants here with colonies that are castable, and the colony shapes are distinct enough that I can tell which one made it

    It's okay if you cast the fire ant colonies, it' good for the ecosystem and doesn't matter because they're invasive. Carpenter ant colonies are native. Thus you are harming the environment.

    What a really creative way to kill ants. I would love to order but read the notice about none being available as it's impossible to supply the demand. Ever considered training others to be able to make them as well? Apprenticing ? That's a way.

      What is your problem with ants? Plus there were apparently no ants harmed in the video because the owner waits for native ant species like carpenter ants to abandon their colonies before casting.
