I think people need to start looking outside the box rent is just becoming way too much the price of land is just becoming way too much and people are out here truly struggling at actually work a 9:00 to 5 nobody should have to sleep in their car people need to start thinking outside the box The states need to start thinking outside the box They need to figure something out because having a whole bunch of homeless people and threaten to lock them up just because they can't afford a place to live is not right
The running water and sewer is my questions. How does that work. If you have a house and put it on your property, who would connect or dig for the plumbing? And I'm sure each county has its own rules so they can make money. I love the idea and I love how he's thinking out of the 📦. 😅
at 10 to 12 thousand dollars, I'm going with the Amazon tiny house. I can always, over time, add all that I want to it. But I do adore the BOXABL house.
Should be stackable to make it a two floor Would buy four for the price of one Casita and end with a 4 bathroom 3 bedroom very decent size home with money to spare.
The Amazon ones look cheap. Doesn't show a kitchen or much of one when it did and you can't hang much if anything on the walls. I couldn't find any info on insulation or where it was make. If I'm buying a tiny home it sure won't be from Amazon. I'll pay the extra to have one that looks more like a home, is built to live in, and is built to last.
It also appears to be one of those items on Amazon, Wayfair, etc. where there are mutiple listings under different brand names for the exact same thing. It other words, one Chinese company produces it and they sell it to a 3rd party who brands it as their own and sells it to consumers.
Just build your own, starting with a basement! Because many localities would not even consider these tiny houses to be legal! It is not that difficult to lay bricks for a small house, but bricks will last longer than all these light panels.
It seems neither products are being deployed in substantial quantities to alleviate the displaced and the homeless, which is ultimately a result of bureaucracy, greed, distraction, complacency.
Its sad that govt. Has made it a law to be homelessand in top of that theyve nit built new cheap places.Bad Government.like Prisin is for someine broke ,does that nit sound like marshal law?
Land, insurance, and dealing with red tape is huge. Also, many local governments do not want these homes. They are getting rid of trailer parks and leaving people homeless.
The Boxabl is actually classified as a modular home in all 50 states so it should be allowed pretty much anywhere, including where trailers aren't. At it's price though, it's knocking on single wide trailer territory.
@@madmatt2024 Boxabl will not replace trailers in trailer parks. It is for a small travel renting place or a backyard individual. The big real estate corporations will build other dwellings like apartments and rent. They want a renters' nation to squeeze and control the American population into bug infested patchwork renting units while draining our money dry. I know I exist in one and have before. It is about money over humanity into an oligarch controlled by nationwide management corporations that do not care about you and me. And if Boxabl does not get its act together, the owners will sell the concept to a big corporation and move out. Then they will make cheap copies that will not last long so they will have to buy another at a higher price. I know how this works. I have seen it done.
Just FYI for viewers - The only connection between Elon Musk & the BOXABL company is that he owns one Casita unit which is apparently parked at/near his SpaceX facility in Texas... Another thing to be aware of is that BOXABL seems to be having some financial troubles. TBH, by the time you add in everything needed to make the cheap Chinese import livable (and getting it up to relevant building codes) you wouldn't be that far from the American BOXABL price and still have a far less well constructed product.
Perhaps rural zoning would be more lenient. If one has the land, a sewer and well can be dug. But, yes, something has to give. I think these units are fine for 2 people or less.
Look, you don't just plant a house. How do you get your electricity? Your water? Where does your wastewater go? Okay, where does your waste go? What about zoning laws?
just remember "nstallation: This prefab house has no accompanying staff to dismantle and install, while furniture and circuits are not included, you need to install it by yourself. The sheds and tiny houses use drywall anchors and screws through the holes on the adjustable legs for added stability."
They are fake, unless it says verified purchase, they are not real reviewers who actually bought the product. That goes for anything on Amazon. People can just type whatever they want.
The Amazon one appears to be sold under mutiple listings using different brand names for the exact same product. It other words, it's Chinese junk. The reviews aren't promising either. The Boxabl one looks nice BUT at $60K it's getting into single wide trailer territory.
Think Ill pay the extra 50K to the man who managed to catch a landing rocket with chopsticks, over the more then likly cheap chinese knock off that will probobly catch fire the first time I turn on the heater!
SCREW AMOZON TINY HOME, NOT AFFORDABLE. NOW ELON MUSK 💪🏽👑🎩🤗😘💥💥💥👑👑👑 IS THE NEW WORLD 🌎 KING OF HOMES. AMOZON YALL DNT STAND AH CHANE AGAINST MY MAN ELON 💪🏽 MUSK

Good place to put my extra stuff and hang out with my parakeets.
Should be stackable to make it a two floor

Wont work in Texas, 70 mph winds happen often, so sad I liked the home.
People are not getting their Boxabls. There is a big back log.
NC folks might need these box homes
I love to have that house for 10k oh my that's wonderful

Great for huracan areas, you can close it tied down and go.
Apart from being 1/6 th the cost. The amazon one has a larger floor area plus you can do more customsazaion from what I can see.
Didn't the Boxable CEO just come out of prison for fraud? Not sure if I totally trust the company.
If this is being marketed to North America then why not show the correct receptacles?
Ceiling height?
Not too hard to run your own plumbing. Most rural areas don’t care what you build on your property

Someone who is financially well if should off these homes to hurricane victims.
Land, insurance, and dealing with red tape is huge. Also, many local governments do not want these homes. They are getting rid of trailer parks and leaving people homeless.

Amazin.and theres lit less no Questoin.
You can have solar panels and batteries for electricity and you'd have to be on a sewer system and water
Perhaps rural zoning would be more lenient. If one has the land, a sewer and well can be dug. But, yes, something has to give. I think these units are fine for 2 people or less.
Into your thermas
We need land to put it on. Kevin at the bank keeps denying that damn loan.
Look, you don't just plant a house. How do you get your electricity? Your water? Where does your wastewater go? Okay, where does your waste go? What about zoning laws?
Plumbers and electricians
Just like when you build a new home you need to get your water electricity and sewage connection
So what is your point? These are also the same things you have to do if you build on site. With the housing crisis, homes like these are a good idea.
Maybe in the near future, that's exactly what you do. Thought creates your reality.
Yes, add 20k for utilities, maybe another 20k to buy for it, or rent a space in a trailer park.
70mph for the Amazon is dangerous!
true most mobile homes rated at 75 mph
Can't have that in Florida, Milton hit us at 120mph.
Neec some accessible ones
Watchable Casita is what I’m interested in how much money do I have to have for a down payment? You could tell me that maybe I’m ordering
Musk's house is probably more flammable 🔥🔥🔥
Very cool!
I think ill take the ten thousand dollar one lol!
It can handle wind loads up to 70 mph!
None of those Amazon homes will pass county state codes
Love it ❤😊
60,000 dollars is actually cost effective, especially it being promoted by Musk...
That's how you know it's another scam haha. Boxabl has been fundraising for years with nothing to show for it
You don't have any criticism of these houses? This is like a completely uncritical ad, w/ affiliate links. There are many, many flaws w these 'homes.'
Begin by listing specifics to attain credibility.
If this amazon prefab is available in Phils i ll buy this building.pls Mr Musk have this building available in the Phils.thanks
Musk doesn't make the tiny house, he owns one what he has is made by boxabl homes.
You get what you pay for
Oh the joys of being wealthy
I have 2 questionsz: 1-what is the country of manufacture? 2- do you need concrete pads for these to sit on? thank you.
It will be Chinese and it will need concrete to stand on.
Hold up.. it amazes me that these billionaires want to put you in a BOX🤨
Nice
Thank you but Not sure the Boxabl Casita can sustain 180 miles winds of Hurricane category ≥ 4
just remember "nstallation: This prefab house has no accompanying staff to dismantle and install, while furniture and circuits are not included, you need to install it by yourself. The sheds and tiny houses use drywall anchors and screws through the holes on the adjustable legs for added stability."
Two things: concrete foundation and Amish.
Reviews online for this are horrible.
They are fake, unless it says verified purchase, they are not real reviewers who actually bought the product. That goes for anything on Amazon. People can just type whatever they want.
Are they made in China?
You can buy 5 Amazon homes for less than 1 Elon home. 😂
$10K is still too much. $6k with the same quality would do it.
I need two ( 2 ,) units. I do live in a coast city with dock included.
Pedernales, Dom. Rep.
the mofonguero country, will no qualified for it, becuase is an island!!
Where is the kitchen can you cook in there

All these tiny homes seem to require you to be a Nudist who has no need to hang up or store clothes.
Amazon, amazon houses make in China?
Boxabl appears to be vaporware
I want a house on a foundation.
Buying Musk's Tesla House
The Amazon one appears to be sold under mutiple listings using different brand names for the exact same product. It other words, it's Chinese junk. The reviews aren't promising either.

It's a detached extended stay
