How does the screen go from gray scale to full Color?

The RNS850 has always had a full color screen... If you insert a DVD into the player, you can watch a movie (not 4K). It will also display MP3 song info in color if the info has also been imported with the MP3.
The NAV screen is color as well.

Wow, terrible installation video. Poor camera angles to see what’s demonstrated. Did no show that part being installed.
