I'm chalky white and love the show. I've seen the first 8 episodes a couple of times. Dallas Goldtooth breaks me up every time he appears. I like where the story line is going. It's easy to be bad but doing the right thing is virtuous and noble. I grew up in the 60's and went to school with the native people from Carter Seminary in Ardmore, Oklahoma. This lifelong Okie says, "Keep up the good work".
I saw a clip on RUclips with Dallas Goldtooth on the horse and i had to sign up with Hulu and i watched every episode straight through
Can't wait for this. A new type of comedy from a people who have great stories to tell. This world is ready for a new flavor. Been a long time coming

Been a fan since 1491. Happy to see your journey and vision where it is today. Hope it goes as far as you want or need it to.
I came across this show being mentioned on a youtube channel (Patrickisanavajo) this past weekend. Watched several youtube videos of the show, and was very impressed. Dusted off the hulu account, and watched all of season 1 yesterday, and the first 4 episodes of season 2 today. Looking forward to future episodes. Hopefully you are able to bring on more seasoned native actors and actresses, as well as up and coming native actors and actresses as this show gains momentum. Best of luck to cast, and crew!

Dang, do you have to have Hulu to see Res Dogs? Will it go to cable? This show sounds like the Native version of Northern Exposure, laughs combined with cool messages. Please give this director what he needs. We need more of this.

Great interview. Insightful. Didn’t even think that there had to be some active form of permission-granting for me (old white guy) to enjoy rez dogs, and other great native films. Nonetheless, it felt seamless for me to enjoy it as presented - and for that wonderful creativity and intelligence I am able to enjoy I salute y’all. This one s a huge way to celebrate your history and culture and at the same time make it mainstream enough that others can enjoy. I especially like the character Spirit - the silly ass story of how he died at Little Big Horn reminded me of Billy Pilgrim in Slaughterhouse 5. (And that the horse he died with is still with him…)

I’m really hoping they do this for the Marvel Echo series. Depending on which character they use for Werewolf By Night they could do this as well.
