I recently found my old gray game boy with a copy of Tetris. I remember liking the B-type mode of 9-5 more than type A. Glad this exists in addition to the NES Tetris scene!
i think it's fine with a relatively small community but if competition scales up it might be better to have a default ruling in the case of malfunctions, etc. leaving it up to players can put them on the spot and make them feel obligated to do the friendly thing and run a game back, it can put them in the position of being a villain for wanting to not have their own game disqualified because of someone else's tech issues.
I think competitors should be mandated to show themselves on stream playing. No shade, but the guy that sweeps finals, can't properly put in their name at the high score screen? Okay?

This is the version of Tetris that I play, as I never owned an NES.
Muuuchaaaachoooos!
i need to get into these someday
Just a heads up, it's "Game Boy" and not "Gameboy" - there was always a space between the two.
