I like how you keep him nearby in a swing, then he sleeps in his own bed, but also has an option of staying with mama in her bed :-). This will be our first. Nice to know that newborns are not picky about where they sleep. I guess they just love company.
My LO loved being swaddled but even more the Zeky Hands. They are weighted hand shaped bags that you can put on the side or tummy of the baby. The pressure makes them feel as if they are being held when mama is unable. Very neat, but use within eyesight of baby.

it became a habit with me, every night I had to take a shower, just didn't feel right unless I did, so when I had my daughter in 1987 every night we had a routine, she would get a bath every night. she loved the baths. you are amazing mother, beautiful kids and wonderful husband you are truly blessed
Good God i miss these days so bad!! My beautiful daughter is now 2, 5 years old and I cant even believe how little time there was to enjoy this babysmell and all these little noises .. i want to cry and i do thinking about how fast is going .. what am i going to do when she no longer be even a toddler .. this love is so painful 😭

You're right. Our boys slept on their tummies because it was the done thing at the time. Sleeping on backs was considered dangerous in case baby was sick. How times have changed. X
do the other 2 kiddies sleep till 8-8:30 ? so lucky ! my daughter is up 7am and miss 7 weeks gets up for a feed at 5 and doesnt go back down till 6 😧 lol
I am aware of the baths your babies use, but im not being rude but the baby could roll over then fall into the bath when you turn around for 2 seconds or something.
Pregnant with my first right now. First grandchild in our family, so the last time there were babies was when me and my cousins were young. 30 years ago. I also have no friends with babies and have never babysat. Freaking out a little here. Alll these youtubers make it look so easy.
Dont worry, ask lots of questions to your OBGYN. they will tell you to wait until it falls off before bathing the child. Dont worry, new borns that small dont need to be bathed, u can give them a very good wipe down, make sure u clean the neck, armpits, face and bum every day.
I've never seen anyone put a regular onesie on under a footie! I would never do that because my son gets hot SO easily and would end up waking up in a cold sweat
