First, thank you for the video. at 2:44 there is a mistake. Pulmonary veins return blood from the lungs to the left atrium not the left ventricle. Also at 21:48 it should be left subclavian artery. Again, thank you. This video was great.
Dont know if anyone gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend recently :)
very helpful review except there were several mistakes. At 2:43, Pulmonary veins return blood from the lungs to the LEFT ATRIUM not ventricle. You cannot enter into the ventricle except through the bicuspid valves in between the left atria and left ventricle. Then at around 13:56 you point to the tricuspid valve but state that its the Inferior Vena Cava? Also at 16:52, you say the brachiocephalic artery branches into the right coronary artery and right subclavian but it's the right common carotid artery. Same goes for the left common carotid artery, you call it the left coronary artery. Lastly, at 21:40, #15 should be the left subclavian ARTERY not vein. Thanks again Henry! Great review.
Arteries carry blood AWAY from the heart while veins carry blood TO the heart. Anytime a structure is leaving the heart, it is an artery. When a structure is heading to the heart, it is a vein. The only exception is the pulmonary because deoxygenated blood is in the pulmonary arteries where it will then become oxygenated in the lungs and head back to the heart via the pulmonary veins.
That's not an exception to your primary statement. The pulmonary artery is carrying blood AWAY from the heart, the pulmonary veins are carrying blood TO the heart. Whether or not the blood is oxygenated is a different topic.
@@taristazin2073 Usually I think of Arteries as carrying Oxygenated Blood and veins carry Deoxygenated blood and yes that is usually true the only exception I know of is the Pulmonary Arteries and Veins.
question - need your help - what are the two components of Cardiac Cycle (2) - what are the Branches of the Left Coronary Artery? (3) What are the Great Vessels? (4) What do you mean by Systemic Circulation? please i need your answer in details for the four question for school. Thanks
Thanks very very very helpful .. on one part of the video you called the subclavian artery an vein I had to go look it up because I was pretty sure only pulmonary is opposite

Great video, thank you so much
Isn't supposed to be right auricle for the flaps and right atrium below it for the first quiz?
Quiz helped to revise once again...Helpful video
great explanation
At 13:53 he says Inferior Vena Cava but means its the whole that leads to the Right Ventricle through the tricuspid valve.

Did you mean to say left subclavian vein on the aorta or left subclavian artery?
I should have said subclavian vein and will correct it soon. Thanks for asking.
15 is the left subclavian artery.
