Hi . From experience no double barrels shoot exactly the same point. Especially on short distances. Try it at 12,to 15 yards and you will notice the difference. Ty for Yr great videos.
Asking around, it would seem very few people actually pattern the guns/chokes/cartridges they own. This confuses me as i ive always patterned my combinations, it gives you a visual of what to expect at any particular range you chose to shoot.
@@stevenlord782 couldn’t agree more! Knowledge is power and taking a couple hours to get to know your gear and create an efficient setup of gun, shell and choke is 100% worth it 🙌🏼
I sure do! I shoot each barrel at 20,30,40 to verify both barrels deliver a consistent point of impact. I’ve been fortunate that all my double guns have done so but have heard of many that don’t! Great call out for everyone to be aware of 👊🏼
This gun has a concave rib. I own others that have a flat rib and I shoot them equally well. I don’t see the bead or barrel as I shoot so I personally don’t see an advantage, for me, on one vs the other. The concave definitely looks more sleek and classy though!
Okay good to know ! Yeah I have a cz sxs and I think it has a flat so when I went on the upland site I saw it was an extra 250$ for the flat so I was just curious

Good general info. Do you ever shoot to match barrels for cross over at distances? Its amazing how many doubles don't shoot to point of impact.

What wood grade did you select on this model? Looks nice.
Thank you! This is a grade V. Turned out beautiful.
Hey when you got your gun built did you go with the flat or concave rib !?! And why !!
