- Unfortunately, my TDS 460 has failed again. But this time it's not a capacitor it's something else. Watch this video and join me on the journey of finding out what it is.

Very COoL. We share your joy! Really a good job and magnum save. Love these scopes (Of course I'm the right age to:). This has been a very enjoyable 40 minutes. I don't have a mistress so this was the next best thing on Friday night. Food for thought; those puppies run pretty hot and the case is part of it's active cooling solution- but you knew that! I'll be subscribing just in case you hit another one out of the part! Cheers.

Awesome video thanks I have a 420. It has a stuttering lights flashing on then off fan start and stop at start up issue.
When I first got it I rebuilt the one large power supply board actually just new caps.
It ran fine for a couple months now this.
I'll watch your recap video I guess that's my next step. Love your enthusiasm

Great info! I own a 420 scope and have a trigger related problem (not triggering, Acq error on startup - might have some corroded tracks under some chipsets).
Great video, thank you. Do you still have the board from TDS420? I'm repairing my TDS420, there's no triggering on CH3 & CH4, and I'm stuck.
