Well done Adam!! Thank you once again, it all makes sense now, that's because the steps that you show here in your video have made it into such a simple process.
Hey Man Thanks A Lot. Your Video Just Saved me. Please I want more videos like this where you will choose such demo design and then explain it line by line like this video. Please Carry On.. Blessings!!!
Thank you so much Adam, that's what Im looking for, switch from Elementor to GeneratePress. Just a little recommend that should you put your face on the bottom left. That's not hide the configuration panel so we can see what you changed clearly.
Thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial! I found it incredibly helpful. I was wondering if you could create a video on 'Building a Dynamic Blog Website from Scratch with GeneratePress (GP) and GenerateBlocks (GB)'? This would be a huge help not only for me but also for others who struggle with building a website from scratch. When we try to create a website from scratch, numerous issues arise, and one of the biggest challenges is making the website responsive. While using templates is an option, creating a website from scratch would be incredibly valuable. Thank you in advance for considering my request!
Hey Adam. Great tutorial. You could have wrapped the Post title, excerpt and data inside a container of their own and apply the margin/padding there instead so as not to have to repeat the same spacing for each of them.
Hi Adam, Great tutorial! I have a question for you. I saw on your website, Adam Wright Design, that you have a new design for the query loop where you have the category over the image. I love the idea of doing that, so how do I do that?
Hey Sonia! Thanks so much! To achieve the look I have on my site, you would put the category first, then the featured image below it and add negative margin to that image block. You may need to change the z-index of the category headline block to 2, to bring it on top of the image.
It sure does! If you enter a headline block in the Post Template container, and select the appropriate dynamic content setting for the Author Meta you're looking for, it'll populate for you 👍
Hi Adam! I just want to say that your videos are super helpful! You have an excellent gift for educating. Thanks again; your videos are my go-to reference for generating press. If you ever need anything digital design-wise, hit me up. I would love to return the favor.
Great video! Thanks! For the taxonomy, can I show the names of a sub- categories or even a sub- sub- category? Also, can I use this for pages (by showing the parent directory name of the pages in the taxonomy)?
Hey Adam, thanks for creating these amazing tutorials. I'm trying to build a software listing website using GP Premium and GB Free version. I've created categories loop templates. However, I'm trying to figure out how to display the elements on the homepage. Under display rules, I've set the locations to - front page, all archives, tools category archive. Plugins I'm using - ACF and Filter Everything.
I have a question about the List of Terms... is there a way to display two categories and have them in separate buttons? Mine are sort of squished together even with the comma. Thanks
This is a great question! I haven't achieved that before, and not sure how that'd work. GenerateBlocks support is amazing, they might be the best option to reach out to and ask!
At 12:12 - the Post date to have it evenly across - how does it work with the updated version of Generate Press. Since the "Auto" at Margin Top doesn't work
@@adamwrightdesign Oh, I got it. I actually had the 'Post Template' container to 100% height but did not set it to Flex -> Column in the first place. Thanks! :)
Thanks for the video great info. I was just wondering how would i limit it so that the query loop is only pulling in one category only to the view eg just Posts on Dogs category instead off all category posts. thanks
Thanks Adam -that helped a lot! Any idea how I can FILTER my blog posts according to terms searched from the categories? (Maybe I have made the error of allocating each post to numerous categories instead of just one) John
Really nice! I have created the Query Loop, but is there any possible to let query loop filter automatically by category type? Like if I clip the Dogs tag, it will directly show all the post with dogs tag on query loop.
Hey there. I haven't gotten into filters yet - but if you're referring to just showing ONLY a specific category of posts on a particular page, just be sure to select that taxonomy in your dynamic settings.
Hey Adam, if I may ask, in your newsletter (Design to Dollars) in the query loop, above each title you have the numbering for each post (#001, #002), how did you add that?
Exellent video. Thanks for sharing. Can you please move the round video footage of yourself to the left. It hides somthing you are showing at the buttom of the block editor.
Thanks a lot! I apologize about the cover up there...definitely failed! If there's something specific I covered up on accident that you're wanting to know about let me know.
Hi Adam, I am getting the same image on all the posts. How do we get the different images on different posts when using query loop ? For example - like you have shown in this video .
@@adamwrightdesign Thank you. Sorry, need to ask you one more thing. I am trying to put the query loop on the post page but not seeing any effect, all I see is all the posts and they are not in the way I want to see by using a query loop.

I have a question. I have a total number of 73 posts, but I only klicked in the query-loop-menu, that 10 posts per page are on my blogpage. Now there is no button to klick on page 2, where you can see the next 10 posts. Do you have any recommendation what i can do, so that the visitor can see the next blogposts on page 2, 3 and so on?
Ahh I just found it - you just need to click on the query loop and there is something called pagination, that´s the solution. Maybe it´s helping somebody here ;)
Awesome tutorial specially for those new to GP/GB like me. However, it would have been perfect (at least for me) if the PIP of yourself is moved away from the lower right as it obstructs the settings you were doing and viewers could not see exactly where you're doing it. We could hear you just fine so my suggestion is to 'turn off' PIP so we could see those settings you're tweaking. Just my two cents.

Hey Adam, if I may ask, in your newsletter (Design to Dollars) in the query loop, above each title you have the numbering for each post (#001, #002), how did you add that?
It's just using a Custom Field, and I manually enter the issue number in the editor. It's then dynamically pulled in through a headline block.
