How very typical of TGC to put nearly everything on IAP. It wouldn't have killed them if they had put the winter quilted cape and snow globe on free and the free cape straight up is a more meh version of Troupe Juggler cape. Considering the latest Traveling Spirit choice (Bumbling Boatswain btw), TGC has never failed to make me get worked up for nothing only to disappoint me again
And the deer antlers as well, I see it every year and I get mad that it's iap, they even raised it's price and there's no way I'm giving them 18€ for this

You have to understand that TGC is bringing back every IAP from the previous years. When it first started, there was only a couple of IAPs. Each year for every event, TGC brings out a new IGC and IAP. So if it seems like a lot of IAP's its bc they are allll the previous years. If TGC didnt brung back all the previous years IAP, players would start complaining.

Crazy how the core mechanic of the game (capes to fly) is the main IAP one... some of these capes are so pretty but it's depressing to have 1 out of 5 capes as F2P, and even more sad that a few of those paid capes are simply restyles of already in game capes so it's not even that much of an effort

I remember back in the days when Sky was genuinely such a cute and spiritual game, all about spirits, cultures, and it genuinely made players happy. Joined when season of enchantment started. I stopped playing mid season of abyss because I got so burnt out. Glad to say I didn’t really miss out because now it’s just a cash-grab game. I think the popularity of the game slowly got to them so now all they see is money money money. Really sad that Sky isn’t the only game this has happened to. But oh well. (Also note that majority of players are minors, who can’t afford all those things that cost real money, so it’s a bit insensitive, but not my issue).
