Killer shooting man, that has to be a big confidence boost. 26:30 thats just an unlucky layout. In a match I'd probably (assuming the 2 goes into the left side pocket) follow the 1 down near the top right pocket. If you get past the 2 line to the side, you have a natural angle to drift between the 6/9 back to where the 1 was for the 3 in the side. If you get a little weird on the 2, you'd have an easy safety, not much use in a ghost game, but still a pretty easy and safe positional pattern, assuming the 2 goes between the 4/6, from this angle it looks like it has a window.
Thanks Adam! Felt great about this one. I should be thinking about safety options during these exercises. I tend to just go Run-out Tunnel Vision. I imagine for actual competition it would be better to have that mindset of playing position for safeties sometimes. Maybe assign a point value to different kinds of safes?
THANK YOU for the downloadable google sheet. I was looking for a better way to track progress. Not sure why I didn't think of excel, but I really appreciate not having to put in the work to create the formulas. Thanks again
You're welcome! Hope you find it as useful as I did. I can't take credit for creating the sheet, however; someone on AZBilliards put together the original. The one you find in the Description is just my updated version with some tweaks. forums.azbilliards.com/threads/9-balll-playing-ghost-score-sheet.396044/#post-5156566
Thanks! They're currently 4.5" at the mouth and 4" at the throat, so not terribly sloppy by any means. I have considered tightening them on my next re-felt.
@@JABs847 I was just in the process of calculating that! This is the result I got based on the online tool: Table Size Factor: 0.95 Pocket Size Factor: 1.00 Pocket Angle Factor: 0.98 Pocket Shelf Factor: 1.10 Table Difficulty Factor: 1.02 This table is average Looks like I definitely need to tighten this thing up!
@OnTheSnap haha, nice. Mine comes in at a 1.2 and it's fairly frustrating at times. You are a smidge above my level, I think though. My Fargo is ~620.
Let me know HERE what scores you get!! 💪🧐
Happy Mosconi Cup week!

Good work ethic, good discipline and focused practice sessions. Looks like youre getting ready for something big
Thanks, Dave. Good training lately. I am lining up some big events; stay tuned!

So, no point penalty for a scratch on the break in rack 4?
No, in this set I didn't deduct those points for scratching, but I will in the future!
Nice runs. If you want more of a challenge you gotta tighten those pockets.

Do you know your TDF?

@JABs847 oh I can definitely see it being frustrating. What kind of table do you have?
G😮rest opening rack
Be careful don't let a number be an excuse to lose. It is easy to fall into that trap.
Good reminder. Can't let the score distract you from performing well. Process over Results!
