i have totalav and eventho it it keeps telling me there is no virus. i swear every day i am struggling with this computer at startup it freezes constantly and l clear the cache and cookies every week. so i don't know if this program is actually protecting me at all.
How much ram do you have? Do you have a spinning disk or an ssd? Those things also affect computer performance and speed. I don't know if you knew that or not.
