@@naunet2400 It is not. I have recently lived in both countries. Healthcare is expensive in the US but at least it exists. Whats going on in Canada is insane and IMO a human rights violation. (How do you ban private healthcare, and then not provide public healthcare?)
I guess u gotta pay out of pocket for good stuff . Unfortunately insurance is annoying to deal with . They gotta find safe ways to make healthcare cheaper
healthcare is one of the biggest complaints in Cananda... not that it's there but that it is so poor
Yeah our system does have it's issues, but I will take it every day over the American system. I spent three nights and had surgery in Canadian hospital. There was no bill.

Butter Tarts were invented in a hospital not far from me, which is ironic because I'm gonna eat so many I'll be heading there myself. 🇨🇦
Love butter tarts, I walk away from that section of grocery store every time so I don't buy them. When I do buy them, they are gone before I am home and I will have to drink a gallon of water because it is too sweet.
Canada day is also when canada was independent from the united kingdom, it also for some people a celebration for indigenous people for being able to live in canada while some are still scared from their experiences in the residential schools

Ehhhhh, I haven't felt the need to celebrate Canada day since 2015, every other year after has just gotten worse, and it's crazy to see how many agree and just don't care anymore, I remember the block parties and people on the street banging pots and pans together, yelling out happy Canada day with fireworks, drinking, barbeques flaming up steaks, burgers, hotdogs, kids biking around with the neighborhood kids just enjoying summer, haven't see any of this in more then a decade, and I wish I was joking, Canada day use to actually be really amazing, but most just don't care, almost like it's not even Canada anymore, I remember when I use to be proud to say that word or to hear our anthem every morning before our classes started, but now, yeaaa not so much, it sucks
