mega is great I've been using it for 5 years and it's very accessible both on PC and on the phone, its interface on both platforms is one of the best in addition to its synchronization which is practical for me, the only thing that fails is that it can't be played the videos on the web but on the phone or using the application for pc works, I recommend it
To me the MOST important feature is that I can send someone a file and they can get it WITHOUT having to sign up for the service. Lately they started requiring someone to sign up for the service. A disturbing new trend. If they don't sign up they can't see a whole folder of photos only seperate download links. If I sent a folder of 20 photos they would have to download each file.
I've been using sync for over a year now and they have an option for unlimited storage that costs around $360 per year. My complaints with it are that download and upload speeds are very slow when being compared to dropbox or google drive. Happy to see you ranking it in S tier but when I'm sharing files for my clients it can be tough when they don't understand how to properly navigate the link and download their files
Google drive sucks when someone shares a video it's a pain in a ass you can't pause files . To Me mega works flawlessly you are allowed to pause anything any time easy to use interface and file encryption as well
All my icedrive files were deleted, only the empty folders remained, icedrive's response was poor, I wanted to buy more storage but I lost all confidence in it.
If you use Windows as your daily OS then OneDrive is by far the best cloud service you can use. I used it while in school and still use it daily for personal stuff. Highly recommend
It's also natively supported in Samsung gallery for syncing photos and videos on Samsung phones which is cool. I'd rather go for a lifetime cloud storage option personally though
I have ADHD and it's usually really hard for me to sit through these videos even though I need the information. Even big RUclipsrs have lost their touch to keep me paying attention, in all honesty. So a job well done! I'll definitely look at your other videos and see if I'll subscribe.
I have attention span problems and i click on a video and on the suggested i see something else and click on it and forget all about the video i was watching But this also made me intrested
You really need to explain the distinction you are trying to draw between E2EE and Zero knowledge encryption. In the context of cloud storage, they basically mean the same thing. E2EE is usually used in the context of communication services like voice or chat. Both terms basically mean that the service provider doesn't have the private key. But you are clearly drawing a distinction between them, so you must be using a less common definition of E2EE and I spent the whole video wondering if perhaps you just mean that the services use TLS to secure your connection with the service. But if that was what you meant, then that wouldn't be what most people call E2EE. Aside from the encryption issue, you really didn't go into any depth. You spent too much time on whether you personally liked the UI rather than either talking about the actual features, or showing concrete advantages or disadvantages of the UI if they are really an issue. Btw, WTF is "Zero knowledge policy"? That sounds like marketing nonsense. Google Drive does not have zero knowledge encryption and they do share data with US government agencies. So I don't know what you were talking about.
Which cloud drive is best? I want a drive which have same encryption like whatsapp(end to end encryption), which won't be accessible for government and neither the Developer....
Users of the free mega account used to often complain that their files suddenly disappeared or turned out to be empty. Has this problem been resolved? Don't know. I've been using mega for a week now and there are problems. I use multiple computers at work. The cloud synchronizes data between them. Several times for no reason, the application did not start or started for 2 seconds and turned off. I had to reinstall several times. It is not convenient and for me it is a risk.
fantastic video! helped me decide which one I want to subscribe to. Sync is my choice. How do I get the 40% discount? I entered through the link but the value did not change, can you help me in this topic?
What is the problem with MEGA to put it in B??? For me it is S-tier since you have zero knowledge encryption for the entire storage and has basically everything u want for good paid plans!
I want to turn off all automatic featurres of ONE DRIVE and use it as a remote logical drive that I can manually move or copy files to from my physical hard drives on my desktop using FILE EXPLORER in Win 10. I am having trouble turning off the auto synch features and have found that there is a hidden directory on my desktop hard drive that contains a copy of everything I have stored on the Cloud Onedrive. This is using up way too much disk space on my desktop Logical C drive. You may be wondering why I am doing this and the reason is that I have two physical hard drives on my desktop and a total of eight Logical hard drives. This is to help organize all my files going back 20 years etc.. So you see, I really just want a remote logical drive for backup of my files to be copied only manually.
Did you try a file recovery app? Also physical location saving is probably safer than this, or just as safe. Get an external hard drive. If you did that you'd still have your photos. You only connect when it's time to store, extract a copy, or delete.
Hi! Can you please tell me which one is easier to use? And most important im looking for upload folders, for example I want to upload my music but not as files, but as folder's, cause i have made folders with different kinds of music,so I don't want to upload my music file's as bulk but as folder's!! And im looking for something as much simple to use, cause i have tried Google drive, and i don't know how to upload my sms or contact's, and i couldn't find a way to upload folders, only to make folders and then upload the files inside them .
Thanks for that good opinion it help me very mucho , I just buy pcloud in my opinion the best of all , I can not use you link because I bougth it before watch you good video any way you confirm that my research was good enougth, thank for you study very good job
Google Drive has version control features too (not just pCloud). Also Google Drive (and One Drive) likewise have auto-backup, URLs and other sharing options too. So I'd like to suggest having those listed as S-Tier too, as everything listed as a perk for pCloud Google Drive has, plus Google Drive (and One Drive) has more memory, integrated / colab tools, and other features such as web interfaces. I feel you were too biased against them.
@@angelh1743 i don't get it. Please explain this to me your buying your own physical hardrives and then using software and turning that into cloud storage? Thats like putting cash or gold under your matterrss instead of in a bank. What if those hardrives are destroyed by my brother or stolen?

Best!
Pcloud and sync offer you money to promote them. Did you try to share a file in Pcloud with a customer? Google Chrome warns you that the shareable link from pcloud often contains viruses with a big red font and a yellow triangle. Explain that to a customer, ask him to ignore it, and see the response. Tell him you use this fucked up cloud storage, but please watch it on youtube; everyone thinks it's the best. Don't worry; the confidential files you share with me are in good hands. Google Chrome is fucked up, not pcloud. Right?
I don't agree about Google, not so intuitive to use. Keeps redundant copies, pain in the butt to share with anyone. Also the free storage is small with current needs.

The fact that Mega's founder had trouble with the law is a positive, not a negative. Think about it.
💯

Correct
All my icedrive files were deleted, only the empty folders remained, icedrive's response was poor, I wanted to buy more storage but I lost all confidence in it.
Why were they deleted?
My main concern is, “what’s the max speed I can upload my data there, and what’s the speed it provides when downloading”. I have 5Gbit up and down….
Dude, the MEGA owner "had trouble with the law" in the past - FOR refusing to give up the users' data!! That's a BIG WIN.
I bought lifetime pcloud, very happy with it!
How is their interface? arranged? As for synchronization - is it fast? Do they have an extension to Office 365?
I'm considering the lifetime payment!
