Everyone should Thank Vic for sharing his knowledge on this channel. I am sure he has altered the paths of pilots heading for a bad day. Invest in the books to keep your flying safer.

Two thumbs up for his rv inspection book. Lots of great photos of aging RV’s and the areas that need extra TLC.

Interesting seeing the missing nut. During our builds there are many times we use Home Despot nuts as temporary assemblies. Our trick is to use that bright pink mason string and tie it to the part. We now know it needs finishing before completion. The second 12 we built went to the new owner and he called me and said - Say, why is there a pink string hanging down under the wing......? We nearing carped ourself, but on investigation it was a part that we had safetied and forgotten to take the string off !

Vic - do you allow owners to participate hands-on in the condition inspection, so they can get a better feel for how things *should* be? While a requirement, I also see the CI as being a phenomenal educational opportunity for the non-builder.
