Based on Margaret Atwood's best selling novel - Alias Grace Alias Grace tells the of the notorious 1843 murders of Thomas Kinnear and his housekeeper Nancy Montgomery in Upper Canada. Two servants of the Kinnear household, Grace Marks and James McDermott, were convicted of the crime. McDermott was hanged and Marks was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Sarah Gadon is ABSOLUTELY mesmerizing as the mysterious Grace Marks and Oscar winning actress Anna Paquin plays the doomed Nancy Montgomery.
The mini series aired on CBC in Canada - but the rest of the world will NOT miss out. ALIAS GRACE begins streaming on Netflix on November the 3rd!
