Mr. Mike, Thank you very much for preserving the Old West history firearms. You and your family have a beautiful and blessed week. LORD GOD Bless and stay vigilant.
This is a really good piece. I have never been a close friend of Mike Harvey but I bought a HENRY Rifle reproduction from Mike and his late wife Mary Lou in 1979 at Bigfoot in Houston. Then in the mid 90's my wife and I became involved in Cowboy Action Shooting. From that point on, I cannot even remember how many of his CIMARRON firearms that I have owned. Mr. Harvey was instrumental in forming of at least two what became SASS clubs in Texas and has fully supported the CAS sport/game for many years. Mike is probably the basic reason that the OLD WEST is still alive and thrives on CAS ranges all over the world. I am very glad that someone came along to revive a part of American History that if nothing else- enthralled people that can only read about or watch movies made of the era. As I said, my wife nor I have ever been all that close or been close friends of the Harveys, but in the few personal dealing I have had with them - I thought they were really fine people. I still believe that Mr. Harvey is a good man and sells products that he - himself likes to use.
That last statement by the owner about these guns going to the factory and them being able to make modern copies is so nice to hear. This is a very unique collection and should be preserved.
I go to Texas Jacks in Fredericksburg,Texas pretty regular. Everyone should really visit them when and if you get over that way. Great bunch of folks there.
Thanks for this video to watch it today made my day i learnt so much from you , and was so good to see the collection and the history behind them . and to see the picture of the original owner , i actually got a bit emotional seeing the old photos and seeing the pistol and rifle . Thanks very much would love to visit you over there and to see the collection . wish i had have known about the collection while i was in LA on vacation as i would have made the drive down . my life long friend live close to Houston and he keeps telling me to come over , well you never know i might just do that . God bless
I purchased my first Cimarron revolver in 1988 in Phoenix Az. I was looking for a colt type peacemaker in .45 colt but did not want to spend 2,000 for a colt and the rugers I owned just didn't fit the bill (although they are great pistols). What sold me on the Cimarron is the 3 click hammer cocking and feel and balance of the colt. I have shot thousands of rounds out of it and it still functions great. Cimarron is a brand I trust and keep buying.
Though I've owned a few more, I currently own five Cimarrons: * Man With No Name conversion .38 * 4-3/4" nickel Pistolero .45 Colt * 4-3/4" Thunderball .45 Colt * 8" 1858 Remington Conversion .45 Colt * 7" Smith & Wesson Schofield .45 Colt
He doesn't seem to mention that the factory he's talking about, is in Italy. Beautiful private collection of genuine historical pieces; but everyone knows that Cimarron Arms is just one of many distribution companies for the Uberti Manufacturing company that makes clones of these great guns in Italy.
Sheesh I can only drool. Being of Boer stock from South Africa Mr Harvey has in that collection what we call a major component of a Boer warrior/hunter's body starting with the bullet past the saddle and ending with the horse's hooves.
I got to help haul the guns to and from the safes for this video shoot. The collection is fantastic. Italian firearm replicas are far the better for Mike's involvement.
THE GUY I lived some of my childhood deep in the woods of Maine.. used to hunt rabbits at 14 bring em home for grandma to cook.. had a old percussion buggy rifle.. then an old beat up Remington rolling block 12 gauge . they were great guns
I used the dealer locator on your site and he ordered a revolver for me, how long is the shipping time usually, from you to him (East Coast) He didn't know.
I saw a revolver on a show you were at I believe it was called rock island auction show in Vegas you had a revolver with a cross on it and called it gods smoke I just saw a revolver and it was called gods hand the cross seems smaller than gods smoke please send me a picture of it thank you
@@cimarronFA i just came across this model today on the internet. I was at a lgs earlier and fondled a evil roy and a man with no name 45lc. If I would have had the cash, I would have bought both. Saving up for at least one tho. Good job, these Hollywood spaghetti westen remakes are awesome.
Not really. This is part 1 of 3 and reducing this part to guy showing off his gun collection is pretty inaccurate. Maybe you're trying to be funny. Bless your heart.

Really want the best 1886 I can get my hands on. Have concerns about the pedersolis. Reg
Pedersoli makes fine products. We have alternatives to Pedersoli 86s. Thanks!
Muito bom o comentário!👍🇧🇷

Yes it's true uberti and pietta produce them, but it's to cimarron's specs

I live in the UK so I have to enjoy guns vicariously, the SAA looks so good, I really wish my country wasn't so anti gun ngl
Take a vacation to the US and hit up a gun range

I thought this was about the Cimarron arms company. Turns out its just a guy showing off his collection.

....Still picking my jaw up off the floor. HOLY@$_!! ....Um WOW!!!
Someday I dream to own two of their guns:
. Original style Military M1911
. M1897 12g.
Yup.
Oh, his guns are from uberti not pedersoli
Cimarron offers models manufactured by Pedersoli as well. Thanks!
