- Let's open over 40 Vintage Hot Wheels out of their packages, many of which are extremely rare variations worth big $$$ money. Most are not worth that much, but still very interesting and highly collectible for the diecast enthusiast. Check it out! Please Smash the LIKE button, SUBSCRIBE, and COMMENT! I do soooo appreciate it, and it keeps this channel going! Happy Hunting my friends :)
I enjoy collecting way more since I started opening my cars!! They look so much better out of the package!! Great video!!👍
I was about to go to bed and saw that my favourite youtuber have posted a video 1 minute ago.. lucky me! Thanks for sharing all that info!
Thank you, what a compliment! Glad you enjoy my vids, makes me very happy to get comments like yours!
Crack open old hot wheels, such a good feeling! Great video!
Really fun to open older castings. Talbot Lago, VW Golf, Mercedes 300TD and 380SEL, Ferrari 512M, the Nissan Custom Z with the opening doors, Classic Caddy and the Kenworth Big Rig are my favorites shown here. Swingfire looks cool too. The paint chips are probably metal flash leftovers from the factory. Thanks for showing these in detail!
nice collection
Your choking noises had me laughing!
Super cool hot wheels tro top 😊
Ooh!! still older cars! Peaked my interest!!!
I can hear Emo collector's crying...NOOOOOOOOOOO!! Nooooooo$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Sorry but the Mint on card vs. Loose war cracks me up. I love Hot Wheels period. On card yeah they look nice, BUT to TRULY APPRECIATE them I open them up. I had a Blue card Oshkosh plow truck-black. I kept it mint for ages. This last year I popped it open. It is a beautiful casting. Again yes it looks nice on card, but loose it's to me anyway so much nicer. I'm not a kid, so I get razzed for having toy cars everywhere, but again I ENJOY them. THANK YOU for showing us loose collectors how awesome they look freed from their plastic tomb...lol. Take care sir. See I commented before watching all of it. Your orange Oshkosh snowplow is the one I have in black. Awesome truck HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY.
I might open my redlines one day
why ? the toy car collector does it all the time
Nice cars and beautyfull colours :-)
Awesome video. Thank you so much for sharing! I just picked up 10 HW, and going to crack them open in the morning! Keep up the awesome videos dude👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Always better when opened!
First crack was from my favorite "series" - Hot Wheels Racing Team! Would enjoy a video covering all those back to the Redline Pit Crew Car, fuel tanker, and crew trailer.
Great job!
Speaking of Eaton's, when I was a little kid, I seem to remember that the Eaton's at Fairview Pointe-Claire in west suburban Montreal had the greatest toy section outside of dedicated toy stores. Pointe-Claire eventually got a Toys R' Us in a plaza near Fairview but that didn't open until 1986 if I remember correctly. Simpson's was also still open at the time and I'm sure they had a toy section too but it's the toy section at the Fairview Eaton's that I get nostalgic for.
I usually got my Hot Wheels in a small toy store called Plastica in my local mall since Fairview was a ~20 minute drive away from where I lived for most of my childhood, though, for playsets, Consumer's Distributing was better.
It’s good to see them opened up and sparkling ✨! I do have the Jag and 512 on my wall as well.👍🏼
I have every one of those, that was from my heyday of collecting as a kid, collected from 1988 to about 1998 then took a 10 year hiatus and started back up slowly collecting Hot Wheels mostly but not many. Then I started watching this channel along with a couple others in 2016 and really started collecting pretty hard and still do. Great video and cars!
I like the new display room. A lot of work went into the making and set up of it. Looks good.
I loved it awesome Hot Wheels
Another awesome video!! I really enjoy these..
Yet another great video. Thank you
I use a little bit of rubbing compound on the scuff marks from the packaging such as on the roofs. comes out great, because I don't use touch up and is still original.
Great video man
Awesome cracking video congrats. 👍 I'm still on the hunt for some of those. 👍
Nice ones! Looking forward to 1990
Very nice my friend, very enjoyable cracking party that you did. I have some of them cars open and some of them closed, I enjoy them either way. I always enjoy you sharing your collection with me thank you.
I really liked these old school models. I would’ve but most of these at my flea market but most of the time they don’t have diecast models for display. That’s why I just resort to buying them on eBay.
It's a shame that 20 or even 30 year old cars are still worth a dollar. I'm a new collector and found a tiger 67 gto in a package from 2000 and was jumping up and down, till i got home and looked it up. I opened it instantly and everything else I thought I was actually worth something or going to be. Thanks for this great video.
You don't have to open them - its your choice. If I get a car on card, it stays carded.
i always love you videos :)
Some cool cars bud, I like a number of them!
I wanted to say that price sticker was from a K-Mart but now that I think back a lot of older retailers used those price stickers. Target as well I think. Again GREAT VIDEO. Your are so right, these older cars are becoming harder to locate. Some of these are from when I was out of school already. In my 20's Hot Wheels weren't high on my list of things to do. My 69 Olds 442 was my baby. Going to Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, and Metallica concerts every summer was more of my hobby. Rock concerts, women, and racing my 442. But seeing this I do realize I did miss out on some cool cars, but I can't say I'd swap them out....lol. 2 top memories....Summerfest in Milwaukee...2nd row center Metallica. June 30th, 1992. I was 24. Yeah I'm old AF. Sorry. Memory lane story. Looking back at older toys, Hot Wheels, Star Wars, etc. reminds me of so many good memories. What comes after this in 1994 and then 1996 devastated me. I lost my parents to terminal illnesses. Emphysema(Mom) and cancer(Dad). Now I have the same illness that took my Mom. So during all of these years the mid to late 90's into 2000, I had zero interest in Hot Wheels. In anything actually. Severe depressionm was my world. But ironically then when I was depressed and didn't care I was healthy. Now 20 years later, I got a diagnosis that back then would have been fine. Karma can kick you in the teeth. Before I knew how bad I was. i was hospitalized 5 times with pneumonia. 3 times I was in ICU. This last time 3 months ago I had a heart attack. But back 24-36 months ago I was laying in a hospital bed and I started scanning you tube. I came across some animal videos...cute. Then I found a channel dedicated to racing Hot Wheels. The Super 6 lane and a scale 1/4 mile run. King of the Hill it was called. Ghostjerker was the channel. I watched for HOURS. As a kid I raced Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and some overseas cars I had. How I got them?????? But I was hooked. I kept watching. Looking for other channels. I found a few that I loved. Some meh. Your channel came up a bit later. You had some Monster Jam races(Love those as well). But your "haul" and reviews were spot on. I was hooked on another channel...lol. All of these combined gave me a fun hobby. I was into Star Wars Black series figures. Marvel Legends, etc but they were $20+ and scalpers were charging $75-125 for older figs. Hot Wheels racing had me. I "switched" hobbies...lol. I started kinda dumb. I got a 4 lane gravity drop track off ebay for $60.00 used. Then the grail. The 6 lane. But I didn't buy a Super 6 lane off Amazon for $119.99. I waited. It never dropped. I ended up spending $149.99 but free shipping. 2 months later Toys R Us sent a email. They had one. $99.99 and free shipping + I had a $10.00 off coupon. So I grabbed a second one. Figured why not, maybe sell one and get some money back. That never happened. I have not sold any cars or tracks I've acquired. I enjoy them too much. My goal was to start a racing channel. I stocked up on some tracks. I got a older Sizzlers set. It was all cracked and not in great shape. Then I got really sick, AGAIN. The pneumonia was ripping my lungs apart. My channe dream died. Mostly due to bad planning. I should have gotten my camera sets first. I had my phone and a older camera. Wasn't good for my needs. Anyway long a** story short. These little 1:64 scale replicas gave me hope and fun when I really needed a focus. Your channel and a few others inspired me to chase a dream. Even though I failed it was a fun ride. Now however I can't get out to hunt for cars. It is EXPENSIVE to have a terminal illness in the US. Add to that scalpers out number us 10 to 1 I can't find anything anymore. The Bugatti, the McLaren Sienna, the Corvette Gumball 3000 cars have all been impossible. The Bigfoot trucks from Greenlight nobody sells. The HW's Bigfoot Monster Truck series they made after Spin Master got the Jam license...another MIA. A hobby that started as a GREAT way to spend time has become a irritating and frustrating chore. I've tried to see if a Buy/Sell/Trade place online could be possible but I've heard there are too many rip offs out there. I hoped I could ask you if you know of any place that people can go to, to find new mainline cars. Not eBay, the Bugatti had auctions of $40+. I can't afford that. Heck I'd get a case before I did that. I apologize for the long a** comment. I don't really have many collectors here. I'm kind of a "outcast". A grown man with toys. I've been called a few unflattering things. I've always walked my own path so I'll live. I heard 4chan has a buy/sell/trade posting, but they do more anime SHFiguarts, Mafex, and other higher end imports. But again I've heard a few stories of people lying and stealing so I've hesitated. Any ideas would be helpful. Again your channel is so incredible as is your collection. I'd love to have a chance to spend a day or three...lol, looking at your cars and hearing your stories about them. Your knowledgeable, well spoken, and have a GREAT EYE for Hot Wheels. One last question. The white Nissan 4x4's, or any 4x4 from that era. The Vette 4x4 as well, are those tough to locate? I've looked a few times on eBay and haven't had a lot of luck. Any way thanks again. If you have time to answer I'd appreciate it.
Thank you for your message to me, it is very appreciated and also nice to know that my channel has helped you, even if in some small way, to enjoy this hobby and life in general... it is the same for me in so many ways. I feel for you and your losses, and frustrations, it certainly seems that you have experienced large challenges. Health is the most important and happiness as well, keep fighting the good fight my friend. As for where to buy or sell cars, I personally have not had much luck other than on eBay. I don't buy many new Hot Wheels any more unless at a local department store, because of scalpers and cost. The older cars, such as the Nissan 4x4 and Monster Vette, you may have some luck with TheToyCollectorDOTcom, he sells vintage cars for a reasonable amount. I have not personally bought from Dave, but he has been running his website for 29 years, and is a RUclips channel as well. Otherwise I recommend continuing the hunt on eBay, and hope you find a deal when you do find the cars. Take care, thanks again for your message and enjoying my videos :)
@@wtffor Thank you for the info. I really appreciate it.
I opened all my Hot Wheels cars over the years.
Lol..I love seeing them being open..it's pisses alot of people off..I been putting mine on display with cases and scene displays..I would never get around to selling them
lots of cool cars brother 👍
Today the postman delivered a mustang stocker I bought loose took a chance and its absolutely mint .
That hurts a little to crack open cars in a perfect card condission...
Great video!
Hello i watched your Videos for a while now ...you did a good Job with your awesome collection 👍 ... i can tell you about the Zender company they are from Germany like me 😉 ...Zender was very popular Company in the 80s and 90s in Germany they made a lot of tuningparts like spoilers and sideskirts and other parts for a lot of cars like VW ,BMW,Mercedes Benz ,Porsche, Audi,Euro -Ford ,Opel and other Cars like some japanese Cars ...and they made few of concept cars and your Hotwheelsversions was in original a conceptcar too ...greetings from Germany
Wow, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge of the Zender company with me, really very interesting and appreciated!
Speed blaster in green with 7 spoke gold was a Canada only in my book..
Gr8 video 👍🏼👍🏼 I open most of mine unless it's a special one . .. Enjoyed your video
Great video as always. I would cut out a couple of logos from those cardboards, and make them into a collage. So you can use them as a background for a presentation. Just an idea :)
Ah the classic blue card hot wheels
I don't like to pay for carded cars because I crack everyone I get too much rather find a loose near mint or excellent condition .
Amor y odio ajajaj el sonido al abrir cada empaque era el sonido de mi corazón hermoso video saludos

I only would open rare packages if I had another to leave untouched... But it's just my way of collecting and yours is pretty impressive an looks awesome! Regards!
Yes. People that open Hot Wheels so carelessly are why redlines mint in their package go for so much today. Just 6 years ago I got a couple redlines mint in rough package for $40 back then. The same ones now in rough package? Haha, $115+
MrWolfSnack, you are one of my longest time viewers and I have much respect for you and the nice comments you have left for me in the past. I find it a bit out of the ordinary that you consider my collecting and displaying preferences "careless". NONE of the cars in this video are going to be worth what Redlines are worth, at least not until I am 6 feet under. This is a hobby for me, as I make clear in my videos. Not an investment. Also, there would be no channel here if I didn't open the cars for you guys to review. Cheers
@wtffor Oh? No I didn't mean you O-dawg, I mean those other people that you see. I'm talking about on Facebook and eBay. There's a really rude subset of collectors that do that. I wasn't directing that at you, it was more of an aside remark in general, not aimed at anyone.
Ah, that's what I thought sorry for my misunderstanding! Very very sorry and thank you for clarifying! Too bad about the rude people on facebook and ebay... that sucks... Partly why I limit communication to RUclips for the most part. Anyways have a great day my friend! :)
No prob!
Zender Fact 4 was a German supercar from the late '80s, Zender built a few other cars as well namely the Vision1S, Vision2 and Vision3 but I believe they were one-off prototypes that never saw production.
Thank you for that info, I really do appreciate it!
@@wtffor No problem!!
The Jeep's are doing a 4x4 burnout I do it all the time in mine😵
Nice video love the cracking =)
great video. surprised i actually have some of these, love the knowledge
Cool 👏💖
The comments... top notch
watching this cause im scared to open mine
People hoard them that's why they are not worth much
Great vid! Keep on crack-a-lackin!
I have the tank truck and speed blaster in blue and road rocket in white and dark blue
Just out of curiosity, and I'm sure I'll get a lot of hate, but why open these??? Why not just sell them to someone else getting started in the hobby so that maybe they can have a chance to collect cars on the cards...not hating, just wondering. Love your videos...keep up the great work 👍😎🍺
Thanks for the good question, and no hate from me! I opened these cars because I needed these variations and models for my loose display collection of all Hot Wheels cars released... I did try buying loose models of these on ebay but was unable to locate them mint, so I needed to get them on card in order to do so. I also don't sell anything at this point, just a die-hard collector! Cheers!
Thanks for that...Cheers my friend 😎👍🍺!
F W D dump truck, that's funny!
Even tho your vids are awesome, what if use a cutter to cut the blisters but be careful to not scratch the car
8:39 - I actually believe these are called "Sawblade" wheels in Mike Zarnock's Field Guide.
I stand corrected, thank you!
I call it Ar-39 wheels
Can you please tell me ware you buy all your hot wheels
Mainly eBay, old Hot Wheels are htf in the local for me
Thank you very much and I'm sorry but what does htf stand for😕 lol 😅😅
Thank you
Are you Ryan Reynolds' brother?
First time I’ve ever heard him say “z” instead of “zed”!
👍🏼🤘🏼😎
Rip rip let em free
Oh the humanity 😂
I was able to purchase a hot pursuit series 19 6 car set and I was able to get a green machine, the Florida state trooper dodge charger
Congratulations, a rare find!
Hey wtffor
What id your favorite color only 1 please
What a waste of these perfect blue cards ☹️
I'm sorry, I know these vids are painful to watch for some collectors. Know that the cars will be safe in my collection for decades though. Happy hunting.
I see your drag bus
I just watched your video and the dragbus was on the table.
Why
Ah, the age old question. Why, or why not?
Be free
Growing bored bro?
I don't understand your question, sorry ...
@@wtffor Na, just kidding. That's what I do when I get bored with hobby and stores don't have anything new (LOL!)

Nice cracking video buddy thanks for sharing bud keep up the hunt 😎👍👍
Love it
The 90s - early 2000s had some real great cars. The Limozeen in metalflake black brings great memories. Bought one loose a couple years back in mint condition just to have it again in my collection.
That car also brings back immensely fond memories of my childhood for me... I still have my original car from that time, and mint loose now displayed on the wall! Good find for you as well!!
Thanks for sharing, you have some great vehicles in your collection. 👍👍👍
