I love both color stories but just scored a great deal on the Mercury palette. I've had it on my wishlist since it came out. I think I will be able to skip the Rose Quartz because I do prefer those pops. I really appreciate your hard work on this!

I just got the Rose Quartz, so I haven’t used it yet, but I find the colors so beautiful! The way some of the purples are so iridescent!I got Mercury Retrograde earlier this year because I was drawn to the colors when it first came out. There were too many warm tone orange palettes and the MR was refreshing with light pastels. But I realized I’m drawn to certain colors in general (on clothing or decor), but not on my eyes. I also felt like the MR had so much glittery fall out on my face. I should try it out again before it dries out! I thought most shadows can last beyond the shelf life a bit.
Hi Nally, am happy to have you join me for this video and hearing your thoughts. Yes, the colours are beautiful, especially eye catching are the shimmers! I’m on the same page with you about being drawn to certain colours and preference for colours of eyeshadows being different. I do notice some eyeshadows do dry out sooner while other still apply well even after the suggested shelf life. Enjoy your palettes 😃

Thank u for your review! I love the rose quartz palette but for the cost ($67) I had to just go with retrograde because it’s on sale for $30 plus I do love more colors I already have to many neutral palette. Rose quartz is such a beautiful palette and it definitely looks good on you! 🤗

After watching this I’m going to give both palettes another go. I’ve been initially disappointed with Pink Quartz particularly the metallics which are more toppers than an actual pigmented shadows.
