Hi Charlotte, thank you for sharing your experience and I would be upset in your shoes too and would contact the company as the particular Wet Brush called The Speed Dry is supposed to HeatFlex heat resistant bristles. It’s helpful to hear from the experiences of others . For myself, as I have fine and thin hair, I only need about max 10 mins to blow my hair dry and style it after towelling it dry. And I do switch to medium heat at the styling stage and also use the cool shot to lock in the style before moving to the next section. It’s my favourite brush and I have just bought another Wet Speed Dry Brush and am thinking of doing another more comprehensive video on how I use it. Wishing you a good week ahead!

@@shereenaA I ordered ND’s older 28-pan palettes. I’ve seen mixed reviews on them, but decided to give them a try. I like the idea of removable pans. Looking forward to your review of the LE palettes.

Hi Arlene! Am happy to hear that it’s useful :) I recently learnt a new tip from makeup guru Smitha Deepak on how to make it much easier to use the eyeliner pen. That is to lay the whole brush flat against the lash line and trace it along rather than just using the tip and it has helped so much. Hi Brenda! Thank you! I wasn’t expecting to like it so much. In fact it’s my favourite ABH palette so far. I have Norvina,,Sultry, Soft Glam and Jackie Aina. This formulation is far better than the earlier releases. Am happy to hear that you’re also enjoying your Celestial Nirvana :) I bought both the 5 pans and will post my video once I’ve edited it. The spoiler alert is that I love them! It would be lovely to meet up to chat about makeup. Lol. I can spend hours at Sephora or the drug store and have yet to find anyone who wants to spend as much time as me perusing makeup 😅

Hi Nally! Am happy to have you join me too! I was really surprised with how much I like this palette. The colours complemented each other well and was versatile enough to give different looks. I can understand your preferences on dark red rosy tones and used to feel the same way. I found that applying it in a smaller area and more subtly helps to brighten the complexion without too much drama :) The small brush I was using is the Sigma E21. It does work well for my smaller lids and hooded eyes indeed. Have a lovely day!

Hi Brenda, yes my skin tend to be on the drier side and sometimes prone to dehydration. Personally, I did enjoy the texture although I feel that it can be even richer than what it is for my skin type. If possible, it would be good to get a sample or try it out at the Chantecaille counters. In Singapore, they have it at Takashimaya as well as Tangs in Orchard. Hope this helps 😃

@@shereenaA Hi Shereena, thanks for your detailed reply! Sure, will ask for a sample at Tangs / Taka, as my skin is sensitive, it's better to test out with a sample first before investing in the product, which is rather pricey.

@@brendachan690 Glad to be of help 😃 I got my sample from the Chantecaille.com with my purchase. Hopefully they do carry samples at the counters in Singapore too. If I’m not wrong there should be testers at least. Chantecaille products are indeed pricey so I tend to wait for the sales! 😄

@@brendachan690 Hi Brenda, I used the global parcel forwarding service from Buy and Ship. I noticed that it’s cheaper to buy directly from their website compared to in Singapore. With the sales discount there is savings even with the parcel forwarding service fee 😃 A point to note is that it takes nearly a month for to finally arrive.

Hi Charlotte! The bristles feature HeatFlex which are heat resistant. As my hair is fine and thinner I don’t have to take too long at directing the heat on the bristles. So far that’s no problem and it’s my go to brush or a gentle blow dry.

@@shereenaA thanks. My hair became thinner and more fine with the age. I'm 28. I had thicker hair younger. So the brush will probably work for blow drying. If it doesn't. Ill buy a new one. For 10 $ it's Ok. Other stores it's 20

Hi Nally! Thank you for watching! Hehe, I did try to match my top with the makeup. This is my first time trying on Patrick Ta’s eyeshadow too and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The shadows blended out very easily and although it’s a neutral palette, the variety in the tones can give different looks. The creams surprised me the most as they blended out smoothly and could be used in multiple ways. I didn’t expect to enjoy them so much! In fact I did find Patrick Ta’s eyeshadow formula easier to blend than Natasha Denona’s and feel it would also make a great palette for everyone especially someone new to make up too. That said Natasha Denona’s neutral palette The Midi Glam is easy to use too and ranks as one of my top neutral palettes. I do enjoy Natasha Denona eyeshadows too, however her formulas are denser and richer so it does take more time to blend and her choice of colours are also artistic and colourful. So Patrick Ta’s great for a quick easy look and Natasha Denona’s midi and larger palettes are great for creations with more time. Just a thing to note about Patrick Ta’s palette is that it’s definitely a finger print magnet. Have a lovely weekend :)

Hi Terri, that’s a good question. As Singapore is humid, I have not managed to test if it can prevent static as there’s usually no problems with static whether I use it wet or dry. I do use styling products to add volume and maybe a bit of light oil on the ends to smoothen my flyaways. The feature that I like best of the Wet Brush is how gentle it is to my hair compared to others that I’ve tried. It doesn’t tug so hard at my hair when blow drying 😄
