He does the boring stuff that maybe gets overlooked when it gets done but everybody notices when it’s not getting done. Stays back when others go forward to help remain defensively solid but also knows when to get forward and get in the box. Hes the perfect mix of the gritty box to box mid that will get stuck in but also has the technical ability to be much more than just that. We’re so so lucky to have him.
Endo very underrated & under appreciated I think from our fans , very much James Milner vibes he reminds me of. Didn't let us down last year hasn't let us down when he's came in this season. Proper team player and you need those wouldn't be moving him on anytime soon
Macca does this sort of thing every week but it very rarely gets recognised. If you play in midfield or if you watch him and pay attention you see his impact on the game. Still our best midfielder and when he doesn’t play we lose control.
Endo under appreciated. Having an Endo squad player is fantastic. If everyone is as good as Macca and Grav there would be issues with them not getting enough games.
Alexis has performed well but continues to step it up & surprise a few, whether he is playing slot machine football to score against Real Madrid, his awareness to get the goal away at Tottenham, his 2 assists in a comeback against Leicester … & the way he played yesterday. Love him.
@@MarcusDobson-m4i it's still easy to make the argument for Bradley too, given he absolutely pocketed Mbappe, who was being played in his preferred LW position, whilst also offering a constant threat going forward himself and also even getting the assist for macca's goal
@@MarcusDobson-m4i i mean Bradley literally stopped a big threat at one point with a last man tackle... He also wasn't a threat at other moments because of how well Bradley played him lol. and yeah again, he was fantastic going forward too. He's arguable either way but it's Bradley for me (only just)
Been saying it for weeks, Mac Allister is a force multiplier type player, he makes everyone around him better ESPECIALLY in the Double Pivot Role. His track record is nuts, Enzo in the national team winning the World Cup sells for £120m, Caicedo at Brighton sells for £115m, 31yo Endo Wataru's first season in the Prem in an injury ravaged side and SOMEHOW together they had us top of the league with 6-7 games to go and won us 2 trophies. And NOW Gravenberch who is 22yo, hasn't played DM for YEARS, and he looks like a world beater and we're top of everything and favourites for everything. That's INSANE.
Said when he played for Brighton he would suit Liverpool, we signed a blinder, there was no way he was staying at Brighton has just stayed out of the lime light finding his way and making things tick over, seeing Szoboszlai last season all over the pitch made us almost forget we had Mac,The midfield we have looks so fresh and building solid on pitch relationships,
We have Bajetic coming back in the summer, Jürgen trusted Bajetic in the biggest games when he was in charge and he never let him down , imo he's one of the best young No6's in Europe and fully believe that with him and Gravenberch , Endo also , that we have the No6 position boxed right off doors open all the time in football and when Zubimendi bodied us it forced Arne's hand and in turn he put his arm around Gravenberch and has got the best out of him thus far. So when Bajetic returns "imo" we will have 2 quality players to fill the 6 role with no dip in quality , we also have Doke coming back who's numbers for his age in arguably the toughest most physical league in Europe is immense. I genuinely believe that the only position we need to box is another CB and possibly a LB as if A Davies is available for free then "god willing" if TAA signs then we'll have the best full backs in Europe to choose from , football has evolved and it's become very much a squad based sport , so pretty much like last summer , no major revamp , just the odd body here and there and "pray the 3" sign extension's then we'll still have the players who's ripping the league apart right now not to mention the Champions League ! If Endo does move on then the door opens for Morton imo and deal with that departure in house and get the full use of the AXA !!! Bajetic for me will save us 50 plus million in the market and as I say it won't dilute the quality !!!
As much as l love Jones & Szoboszlai this season plus we also have Elliott back on the bench, imagine if we were to sign a Zubimendi/Tchmoumeni type to play the DM role allowing Gravenberch to be more freer in a box 2 box role like last night & allow MacAllister to play more at AM!!!! For me that would be our best midfield
Macca is Liverpool's most professional footballer. The stronger the opponent, the better. Even Dom has this ability, other players lack X. Salah is also weak when the opposition is quality, because Salah can't play football.

I call it the ugly work. Very combative in there also always makes himself an option on and off the ball. Sensational player mate

Top Lad Macca 💪😉👍 such underrated player in this squad.
Happy New year Spectre mate 🎉

1 or 2 quality signings next month would give the Reds a big chance of winning the 2 big trophies this season .
Mac 🎉

Macca is the Gini replacement we’ve been crying out for, hence like Gini what he does goes under the radar at times

Highly underated.
World Cup winner FFS !!! The man is in another class and above all he is a big game player.
Kroos was wc midfielder but i think macca can be even better..i dont se better CM in the world..
And will only continue get better and better
@@puljano only enzo can rivaled macca in premier league
He was probably motm vs Madrid too.
Nah i think Conor Bradley was motm in that game. Macca a close 2nd tho
No Macca was man of the match against Real Madrid

It feels like if Macca wins the ball back high, it's only a few passes before it's a goal

He reminds me so much of leo messi.
Just not with the mutant ninja speed

Macca is Thiago with groins and calves

So happy to see this. I thought Macca was motm too. Amazing player.
Yes macca is better higher up the pitch when we play against a low block. Gravenberch power better when there is space.

Grav is so assured that it actually looks effortless ❤
I'm not hating but he would be the complete midfielder if he had a touch more pace for recoveries. But he is outstanding and ours!!
That can't be helped though, only so much work they can do on making him faster

So happy Nunez didn’t start the match. He should be used for the Caraboa Cup, FA Cup matches and to cover injuries.
