So you don't know what a harbinger is, nobody said that Venti was the Heavenly Principles, I theorized he was a sort of herald that would use music to awake it, which makes sense with the statue that has "doorway to celestia" on it.

After this lore drop I'm convinced that the cryo archon is from Khaenri'ah.
Now let me cook, in the quest Dain refers to the king as the "Vinster" king. The word Vinster in Norwegian means winter and the Cryo archon is the only Archon referred to as royalty. Now I could go deeper by saying Pierro if he is one of the sinners would be Rerir
My reason for saying Pierro could be Rerir is because In Germanic mythology, Rerir wants to avenge his murdered father and we know the King was killed before the
Cataclysm. So I might be crazy but what if the reason the Cryo archon knows Pierro's pain is because they are siblings and King their father was murdered.
Very suspicious that paimons memory went unaltered the entire time, even though she “forgot” Rukhedevatah
Memory of people in quest was altered bc Calibert(by using Loom of Fate) had such ability. Dain, villagers and Paimon are connected to Irminsul so they were susceptible to having memories altered unlike Aether who isn't connected to Irminsul. Calibert simply didn't choose to alter Paimon's memory bc he didn't have reason to do it so that's why Paimon's memory wasn't altered
But the thing is, Aether was also affected in this quest which is Hella confusing

After doing this quest 80% sure paimon is the heavenly principles and I don't think the heavenly principles was thrilled with the idea of destroying Khaenri'ah because according to apep the heavenly principles loved humans. Most likely the sinners where behind it someway because while Khaenri'ah was being destroyed they did nothing. With every story I go through I can't help but wonder what in god's name did the Khaenri'ahs do to get this sort of punishment.

It definitely feels like an experiment went wrong. They did what they did the people got cursed as side effect and maybe the heavenly principles was there at the wrong time then to be blamed for everything while also enduring much of the damage as well.
I am getting the same ideas. Dainsleif said that the five great sinners got greedy and obtained more power from the abyss which made them transdent beings or gods
Yeh, definitely and heavenly principles also send her personal army aka archon to khaenri'ah to do some heavy lifting.
Well Khaenri'ah not believing in and denouncing gods in a world where gods walk among them probably didn't help. The Sinners got greedy for power, their King had mass weapons of war made to fight HP, some of Khaenri'ahians supported those pursuits, ultimately leading to the Abyss being unleashed on Teyvat, endangering the 7 nations and their peoples.
Regardless of whether or not HP wanted to do it they didn't punish Khaenri'ah because they just woke up one day and chose violence; it was a direct response to a dire threat.
And now our twin is working with the same faction that provoked HP in the first place, Abyss still causing harm, and it's been made clear that tampering with Ley lines can be disastrous. And Caribert set up Teyvat to potentially be endangered again just to fulfill his own wish.
Really getting hard for me to sympathize with Abyss Twin or Khaenri'ah.
Kaenriyah did release the Abyss, I belive accidentally. But what did Celestia do? All the sinners are alive and well, while the entire population of innocent civilians were cursed to become Hilichurls, forgetting their identity and existing as monsters. How is that fair??

The thing is, we don't frick know the power source of the curse. What if the curse of turning to monsters was brought to teyvat (by the abyss) from the ones who betrayed the primordial one (the unified civilization)? Creating what we know from penrihenri.

@@anonimiti I have this problem is real life, I tell others my name but my name is too complex for them to say (hebrew name) so they always shorten it or call me by my nick name. Its gotten so bad at times, i went 5 years without hearing anyone say my "REAL" name. I had to wake up in the morning look myself in the mirror and say my name to myself. This mostly started because others feared saying my name wrong and didn't want to offend me but ended up with no one saying my name at all but family.

@@abceckswhyzee7169 Funny thing is that some friends did that and maybe a few clients did as part of emails but something I didn't expect happened. I realized I forgot how to say my own name. Its a rare name and most people don't say their own name on a daily basis. I had moved away from family and rarely saw them, i worked days and years on end with coworkers only using my shorten nick name. One day after meeting someone new, i realized i was introducing myself to new people, using my nick name and not my full name. It frightened me, i felt like my job had consumed my personal life (My true name) and that person didn't exist anymore. I began rediscovering myself and what makes me who i am. Made me realize that my name was more important than i realized, and hearing it said by others helped with my mental health. This was back in 2015 or 2016, i started taking more time off work and doing things for myself.
I thought Alice would be stronger than Rhinedottir (since she's from beyond the stars) but hearing Dain I think the opposite as Dain didn't mention Alice having world shattering ability.

I like the theory that Celestia has isolated Teyvat in order to protect it from the universe-destroying Honkai cataclysm that seems to be consuming the rest of the MHY Honkai universe, and is therefore maybe not the 'bad guy' they appear to be right now

They are the goddamn abyss prince/princess, wielding world-changing powers such as the loom of fate. I can believe that they have found a way to spy on the gods. Zhongli also somehow knows neuvillette is the hydro sovereign (those who didn't hear him personally confirm it or weren't present at Focalors' execution would assume he's the new hydro archon at most) and you guys never question that
zhongli knowing the true identity of nevullite makes sense. Zhongli is over 6000 years old so he's highly likely the oldest person to live in tevayt not to mention he's likely the most knowledgeable between the archons so he definitely knows that the hydro dragon was reborn into human form and that human is the second important person having a lot of authority and power over Fontaine (after the hydro archon). But maybe the abyss did really find a way to spy on the archons since they hate them so much.

Like, those sinners didnt hesitate to betray their own nation to the abyss, and one of them the foul, literally went crazy by nurturing a narwhal that can destroy a whole nation by absorbing primordial water, same goes for rhinedottir with durin, those guys are crazy.
Yes celestia isnt saint, and privating khaenrihah people from their existence is harsh, but to me those sinners are far evil antagonist than the rest

It is heavily implied that the story we have been fed is not true, and that might be a reason why Hoyo think's it's less important to tell it accurately. See Zhongli calls us the witness implying that what happened is something else enitirely, and now the abyssant that we are fighting in this quest has that tile as well, this is no accident. Zhongli's aspiration is to find a better more reliable way to record time it is possible that the archons themselves recently learned that they are pawns of this game as well. What is extremely suspicious is that Zhongli knows that we are a witness. However that means that we have made basically no progress at all to the truth which is somewhat frustrating to think about.

I always thought, ever since Sumeru, that the loom of fate was being made to undo the Khaenri'ah's curse. As in they were cursed so that they could not pass and return to the leylines so the loom of fate is to be used to re-weave the people of Khaenri'ah back into teyvats roots. And if Shneznya IS working with the Abyss, then perhaps the loom of fate was made to be a clone of the irminsul tree but not under the control of the heavenly principles so when Dotorre burns irminsul, teyvat will be safe and free.
Taking away someone control because you want to control it yourself isn't a good justification.
The 5 Sinners weren't saints, they didn't create the loom of fate to save Khanreah they themselves were the one to brought the Abyss to them.
Nicole already warns us to trust what we see, and to not let ourselves to be deceived, now this machine existed, our lives will be difficult.
Also those Khanreans weren't innocent they willingly betrayed there God and join an anti God faction, don't give them any pity.
So far at what I see, the Gods weren't evil like what those pesky Khanreans though, those kinds of people treat Gods like Jinns they deserve to die.
Unfortunately this last Archon quest gave us even more questions than answers about what is actually happening right now so yeah I’m a little confused & disappointed but hopefully in Natlan will will get some answers about what is happening in Tevat
Not really, the last two Dainsleif quests lore dumped us with no answers for anything. This quest actually answered some of the important questions.
I believe the Heavenly Principles have Strict Justice they imposed on Teyvat.
They only intervene when the circumstances challenged there Authority of even their ideals.

personally i felt like we really didn’t learn anything. i mean the sinners have been guessed by a lot of theory cc’s, and the HP being asleep isn’t really new information since Nahida told us that.
i was so disappointed about the twin convo bc they just dodged our question. i just really wish they would’ve went all out right before natlan, because beforehand, i thought it’d be something they do. idk it killed a lot of the hype i had left. we waited 9 months of filler and they lowkey missed me.
i will say, rhindottir being mentioned along with the new abyss, makes me think hexenzirkel info is coming soon which im excited for.
This quest confirms the Loom of Fate is completed, and it has the ability to create new Ley Lines, greatly altering the world by implanting new memories/fates onto it.
This has HUGE implications for the future 2 nations, because now the Abyss can create new fates without nobody realizing it. If even dainsleif fell prey to a false memory from a half-completed loom, imagine the completed one upon a whole nation.
Hell act 7 being khaenri'ah might be possible because of the Loom of Fate reconstructing the whole nation

Does this "world shattering power" that was split work individually (per fragment) or as one? Is it possible that it was split between the 5 (or 6 if it includes dain) of them is because they are avoiding to "shatter the world"? I am confused.

Im very suspicious of Dainsleif. It just seems to wash. The loom of fate is already complete but it hasn't been put into play yet

I think that the Abyss, Harbingers, the MC, and all archons (and maybe all elemental dragons?) will unite against Celestia. At least, the Harbingers, Abyss (and elemental dragons) all have the same target: Celestia. Archons seem to be afraid to go against Celestia (well, all but Focalors and Tsaritsa, of course), so they just need a little push to declare war against Celestia as well. I think that Natlan will slightly convince the MC to rebel, and afterward, the Tsaritsa and/or the Harbingers will definitively convince the MC to fight against Celestia too.
If I am being honest, I do prefer this one to Caribert because it felt like we were doing things at least. Here's how I rank them-
1. 2nd quest
2. 1st
3. Bedtime Story
4, Caribert
Anyway, I did enjoy this quest a lot and what it revealed. What I am curious about is if next year when we're getting ready for Snezhnaya, will the next Dains quest be the last one because after that, it's Khaenri'ah and that should be when Dains becomes playable himself.

Idk why but eventually I think we all including abyss, fauti & archons will go against celstia cuz something is not right with celstia. That fact we now know she might “awaken” at any given moment..doesn’t that mean she’s fully aware of what happened in Fontaine but still chose to not “awaken”? It’s almost like she’s preparing for the war to happen like she knows it’s going to happen! Idk this is giving me baaad vibes, I just know when this starts it’ll end very badly!
So, where is the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles we saw in the first game?

I guess one perspective could be that Caribert could have created a temporary mirror reality in which the twins did take a picture before they got their memory erased when Caribert's realm was erased. 🤔
Well regardless, this makes me feel better now that it wasn't only us Lumine players again, and there's potentially a lore reason behind how Caribert took a picture.
It also might also be hinting finally, that Hoyoverse's blatant refusal to advertise Lumine alongside Aether as a playable traveler, could be lore related as well. Since now we got mirror universes basically confirmed with that picture.
It's possible Hoyoverse is just focusing on one specific timeline, and that's what they meant by not wanting to get players confused, because we might get a reversal at some point with the other traveler. Just a thought.
"Freedom from the Heavenly Principles" Why? so far in story lore suggest that Sinners and Nations went as far to gain power for selfish desires and not the protection of Tayvet or it's people. Too much Freedom is anarchy but many characters in the story feel the punishments are too harsh that non-sinners doomed by association. Both the Fatui and the Abyss Order are guilty of the same crimes, in their war to defy the HP, they also caused harm to the people of Tayvet. The Traveler is the only one that has the Moral standing to challenge the rulings. Possibly a key trait of their descender status.
About the unanswered questions, I’ve just accepted before now that there’s not going to be any major revealing lore drops on the main story until after or maybe during Snezhnaya.
And I feel impatient and mad about that sometimes too, but I can wait! I can always try whatever other games I feel like in the meantime, but I always keep up with Genshin because nothing else hits me right in the heart like Genshin’s stories.
I hear you very frustrating at times but also nice to have stuff to be excited about although 4 years in im ready for it all lol

We’ve heard nothing of the sustainer for ages now. Paimon being the primordial one better come true! The lack of Paimon lore or questions surrounding her is just so suspicious and also telling. There’s nothing else like her in Teyvat and no one seems to be curious about her! Everyone can tell the Traveller isn’t from Teyvat but no one questions Paimon. So... Am i the only one that didn't like the quest that much? It felt rushed (short) and incomplete? We once again got a lot of questions and no good answers... The sibling doesn't even know what they want to do with the loom of fate so... Did they just lie to us or do they actually don't know how to give it an use even though now it's done? Yes, we got who the sinners are... But to me it feels once again like too much npc and too little actual things that matter... And we as the player do know about everything the siblings told us but the traveler doesn't, so... What was even the point... Idk maybe i was just expecting too much from this mission but it feels they've cut it short, and they skipped too much stuff maybe?
I felt the same. It was rushed and we needed more answers besides the five sinners and loom of fate.
I think it was supposed to mainly serve as a setup for future quests plus some lore. I liked it personally but i could see how people see it as rushed
@@Klara_00771 i mean it wasn't bad per se but i think they should've added more considering the next siblings quest that we'll get is going to be in a year (unless they change something) so it feels like we didn't really progress anything, since the quest feels short and it just name drops everything and doesn't really dive in much into any of the topics... Although at least we finally know what the loom of fate is and we probably will get a lot of new theories... Not bad but also not good quest imo... I can see why people like it ofc, I'm just not that emphatic towards npcs (Clothar and the villagers in this case) so it didn't feel as good for me because of that

It mainly served to set the Loom of Fate as an important element that will be extremely relevant for the rest of the story, as it can literally weave new fates onto the world.
Also establishes the 5 sinners of Khaenri'ah as main threats to Teyvat
Lumine also confirms that the Heavenly Principles are indeed dormant, and *will* awaken one day, so it will be a relevant character later in the story and there won't be any "it's already dead" kind of shenanigans.
And leaving behind a foreshadowing of the siblings separating, becoming enemies or at least having conflicts between them
Idk, that seems like pretty major plot points worthy of an Archon Quest, even though it was pretty short

@@The_original_one So things that are not explained. Why is it important to Lumine to control loom of fate what is her end goal, she doesn't even seem to know herself. They are not showing the great battle scenes not reveal an element, I mean it's been three years would that really be awful to reveal something. I am very upset how lackluster this was. Story is okay about Caribert but they need to start connecting things so it makes sense. Why is Rhinedottir trying to revive ancient dragons, why is Skirk interested in Childe, why did Alice randomly reveal hexenzirel to us, what is the connection between Mondstadt and Celestia. What is IT that Dainsleif mentioned to Halfdan, what are spiritveins why are they important at all. Why were the dragons attacked at all. The story about this that we have been fed is that Celestia just was evil and wanted to control the dragons power, but I really don't think that is the true story I think the dragons did something so Celestia felt it was necessary to remove their power. There I gave you a list . Why do we have important quest items in form of books and why is Lisa of all people in this game aware of it's importance and after that not a single word about it. Can't just wait forever to answer these questions, it's not how you tell a compelling story I am sorry.

@@The_original_one If you write a novel or a story of any kind you progress the story gradually but Genshin is not doing that, it is giving you mystery boxes to ponder the issue with this form of storytelling. This quest was filled with mysteryboxes as well. Why did Surtalogi put the tablets in Fontaine who knows, it's almost impossible to even guess. But it's deeper than you think. If Childe did not fall down in the abyss he would not have met Skirk, if he did not meet Skirk he would not be able to fight the narwhal. Surtalogi is Skirks master means he planned all the sequence of events up to that point so the one that fooled heavenly principles is Surtalogi not Focalors. She was being played without really knowing it by one of the sinners it also means that Surtalogi wanted Neuvilette to have his powers back, it's also very hard to speculate why. Randomly in the middle of that quest Mona turns up of all people in the world with a pressing urge to tell us about her master, yeah a bit strange. This is were the gods gaze can't reach the 5 sinners. But I want and need more context and we should have it I am hoping for a new important book very soon. Dottore is aware of Surtalogi he speaks about the gods gaze before going to Sumeru

Regarding the debate about the Dainsleif vs Abyss Sibling fight, the writers aren't dumb for one. They know that if they show the fight and how it exactly unfolded, it would take away the focus of this short but loaded interlude quest. Not only because they still wanna save the proper reveal of their combat capabilities for the future of Genshin, they also know it would just be pointless to show. So yeah, I do agree that they never showed it, it helps us focus on the more important bits of the lore, the Loom of Fate and how it is supposed to create new memories that may not be able to be altered by the Ley Lines and Irminsul in which a way for the Abyss to challenge the reign of Celestia and the Heavenly Principles, and the as to why the sibling went the path they took.
And I am also sure, that a good majority of people would disagree with this take but then again, I don't really care, stay mad for such people lol. But this is for the better.

Hearing about Gold officialy being one of the Great Sinners makes me that much more excited about more Hexenzirkel lore. Since Alice has been described as a "near omnipotent" mage a few times, and this is the first time we start to get a grasp of how powerful Gold is... Also not to mention that Nicole is prolly an Outlander since she is immune to Irminsul. We'll have to wait and see if the imaginarium theater give us Hexenzirkel crumbs 🥹🥹🥹
