It's not as loud as the full Akrapovic exhaust on same R3, so feel fortunate. Thats crazy loud. In my opinion, these aftermarket exhaust company's should give the buyer 3 options to use: Full sound, db killer for quietest and another insert for a middle of the road sound.
@@earthlyng_official4599 for the R3 it does in fact come with one you are correct but i didnt get one with my full system for my R6 but still R6 without the baffle and my R3 with a baffle i feel like the R3 is louder
Won’t cost too much in my opinion. As far as I can notice, there aren’t any factory issues with bike. They are reliable. Other than that, oil change and chain cleaning I’m pretty sure you are already familiar with. Heavy maintainable duties generally cost 4-500? If u can do it yourself it would be cheaper. I would say it’s one of the cheapest bike to maintain. This bike already has 13k miles and you can’t notice anything different from now ones. It is super reliable and super fun.
Hey man. Did u have to tune it? I just bought the exhaust. Some people say u need a tune some say u don’t. I have the akrapovic slip on and it’s too quiet
Tuning it just preventing it from running rich and you don’t really necessarily need it but it would be great to have it tuned. The exhaust I had on this bike was an m4 slip on so it actually deleted the catalytic converter, that’s why it is louder. An Akrapovic slip on doesn’t delete the catalytic converter so it’s not gonna be as loud and tuning it won’t make it louder is that’s what you are thinking about.
@@dingbropewdew8454 yeah I know tuning it won’t make it louder haha. I got a 350z that I had tuned but only because I had certain bolt ons, so I get the whole tuning scenario. I just didn’t know if deleting the cat required a tune or not. Thank you!
