Awesome Breakdown! Definitely excited to see Moore scheme Barkley into space using some of these concepts. Should make the offense dynamic, and potentially generate some big-play potential as well.
Nick, did you get a PhD in Sport Science or some related field? The way you communicate, particularly statistics & implications per stat, are extremely well structured & emphasize parsimony (w/o becoming choppy “results section” paragraphs of academic writing). It’s something I’ve noticed since joining your channel a few months ago, but I’ve never asked. This video, in particular, just seemed to emphasize this duality so well I finally decided to ask. As a professor, myself, if you haven’t done a doctorate; I can assure you; you’d excel & enter a prgm having the biggest leg up on your cohort as that’s a hard skill to learn, much less implement consistently and compellingly. Love your channel, analyses, & videos. Keep up the great work 👍👍 way up 🦅
As incredible as our offense was during that 21-22 season, we could have been even better if we incorporated hot routes to the RB. We didn't learn that lesson last year either. Maybe now that 62 has ridden off into the sunset, Hurts will have to call his own blitz protections, and that might incentivize him to push for use of hot routes in the offense. (Or maybe Kellen Moore is just competent enough that they are naturally incorporated)
Seemed like a situation where "you don't know what you don't know." Hopefully after a season working with Kellen Moore he'll be in the know. The explosion in motion rate has been relatively new. I saw a tweet from someone at ESPN saying that the Eagles motion rate would've been first in 2017.
Theses teams we play this yr ain’t going to know wht to do with our offensive coordinator nd players going to ball out nd our defense going to ball nd I still think 🤔 howie going to get one more player and thts going to be a safety before the draft we pick a second tier player nd we keeping Reddick I feel cause there ain’t no good teams want him nd he need to be here keep this d tight! Go birds 🦅
I'm more concerned about the defense. W/ that being said, I believe we should anchor the offense around the run game, to dominate the Time of Possession battle. Drafting a downhill styled back to ease the workload of Saquon & cut down Hurts' design runs, could pay huge dividends down the latter portion of the season. This also in theory allows our defense (which still has question marks on the second and third levels) and Vic Fangio's bend but don't break approach.
Regardless if the Eagles kept Swift or got Barkley, the outcome will generally be the same. Minimum 1200 all-purpose yards from either one of those backs
The only two major things that should be the main priority on offense is 1. Teaching Jalen how to go through his progressions and finding/hitting open guys. 2. Correcting the route tree, and adding more hot routes to the playbook to beat the blitz. Do that, we’re at minimum going to the conference championship.
We are going to see one heck of a difference from last year. I am very excited to see a dynamic offense again. I think Moore will do a great job.

Been waiting on this video like Taxes 🔥
I love the shade at Zeke Elliot. 😂

It’s just so fluid natural and soothing an experience. Magical work and I agree he should be a dr 👨⚕️if he so wishes!

Its really amazing what nick said about motion last year. Unbelievable

After watching week 1 it’s safe to say he will be running wheel routes more 😂
Good vid as always
7:17 Remember how bad the bubble screens were last year? Lol it has to be better with Moore now I think
Yeah like having a 170 and change pound man lead blocking for a tight end. Brian Johnson is a genius.
Damn another great video! Off topic but what grade would you given the reddick trade??

Thanks!
Awesoke video!
With Paris Campbell now aboard I hope that they don't overlook him
I had heard that D'Andre Swift was good catching passes. So why, wasn't the offense designed to take advantage of that?
Nick…sirianni
@@mintcarrier ..or Brian Johnson or both.
@@mjciavola he had 0 autonomy in or with that offense
Offensive play calling was ass

100%. I think he's going for 1400ish on the ground, probably another 250-400 through the air.

So much math! I feel dumb...
