You can push pretty hard on the Crayola without damaging them, as long as you rotate the marker while using them, or just push it back into place when you're done. I also find having the second color in a more bullet nib is really helpful for shadows and highlights, and all sorts of other accents that you can create in lettering.
Hello, and thanks for sharing! I am neither a watercolor expert but if you squeeze some tubed watercolor on a palette and mix well with water first before putting it to paper it should be better! The Crayola markers are unique but I'm guessing the idea behind the different color tips is to have colors that complement each other, i.e., letter with the brush tip and outline with the bullet tip. Also if you scribble both colors side by side on some plastic, spray with water, then splat the plastic down on some paper it will make for a beautiful background!
Those highlighters look great (though, you're right, most certainly not fluorescent), they only have one tip, not like Mildliners? That bear looks soooo cute! :D Will you be showing how you make it? Or at least final product? As to those Crayola markers, I don't think I understand the idea of having two colours with different tips on one marker, if that was one colour with two tips, that's obviously helpful, even two colours with same tips would be sensible, but this? Hmmm, strange. As to watercolours, I actually think, that would be terrible set for a beginner, cause it might discourage someone, who would want to learn proper watercolour painting, obviously you only showed one colour on a notebook paper, but it looks like those paints are at the most for kids to play with.
Thanks for your comment! Yeah, after reading your comment about the watercolours I can see your point. I guess having a solid palette would make it a lot easier. At least I know for me I prefer it because I can see all the colours at once and can use them without having to open individual tubes :) Oh well, at least for $2.80, it was fun to try!
Project: Midlife the watercolors are very cheap and for how much they cost they aren’t bad. They aren’t the best obviously but for that price they are great for their price.
Aww I wish I knew the name! I'm so sorry, I actually got it as part of one of the Zenpop boxes and when I go to check for a name, there is nothing on it :( Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
Do you live in nsw cause I have a daiso where I live and I haven’t seen one anywhere else .so if you have daiso like where ever you live for example the us I didn’t think they have daiso there but cool
Mostly everything is $2.80 AUD in daiso there so affordable and cheap! I go there after school to buy some stationery there :))

I have the Crayola brush tips and you can push a little bit as long as you rotate the pen while writing
Thanks for the tip :D
Davante J how much are the crayola brush tips?
Liked your daiso haul. Interested in those watercolors, but never water colored before. I wonder how they look in card making.
Crazy! I’m going to Daiso soon! Thanks!
I miss Daiso so much :( (haven't been cause Melbourne was in lockdown for so long)

Oooh that is a good point about the complimentary colours! And that's such a great idea with the water :D I have to try it! Thank you :)

Respect my fellow Aussie. ✊
I LOVE my Crayolas! This was a fun haul!
Aww thank you so much for watching!! I really appreciate it :)
I like the crayola concept. It seems like the bold are brush and pastel are fine tip. It’s unusual, at least. 😊
Very true! I haven't seen it done by anyone else :)
how much is the crayola one?
love lemonade It’s actually very cheap. I got the 100 pack one for only $25 on Amazon and it still works perfectly fine.
It was $29.99AUD at Officeworks, but Amy is right! You can buy the Supertip versions for like $25 for 100! Such a good deal :)
my Daiso in our country sells all their products for $1.30 only
1:24 i have that from my zenpop subscription box, but the packaging doesn't say daiso
With the artline stix brush pens you can press as hard as you like!!
Is it because the tips are brushes? I know for brushes you can get away with a lot of pressing :D
Omg she’s Aussie I think cause I am g’day mate
Lmao
Omg I have so much of that stuff you got lol
Really?? That's so cool!
