6:36 oooh hells yes I would do that! Dly is soo fun and with this invisible graphic stompy box ya don’t have to worry about replacing the tape or cleaning the heads🤘🏽
Wow, that is really neat little box! I actually have owned a tube version Watkins Copicat some forty years ago, which was also great for tube distortion. I like the concept that it can be battery operated and that it can be tweaked by dummies. Very accessible backpanel which can opened with a coin. Yes, I might buy it, that would be my first Fender product, if you don't count a few guitar picks I bought in the past ;-) The weird synth like varations are a plus, too!
If I just want to have fun with this kind of effect, it's ok and it is cheap. The sounds are OK. If I really need a good effect pedal I would save the money to buy the best effect pedal that is perfect for me. There is no best of the best, because it is a personal decision and my perfect pedal don't have to be expensive... If a effect pedal makes me happy, it's the right decision.
Hey Henning, You dont know me.... Im a pyro guy on KISS , we are in Hamburg now for 2 days... I dont know where u live but it would be nice to meet you.... Dave is building me a BE50 deluxe brighter for my 24 years of touring hearing loss that will also work on 100v where I live in Japan.... If it would be ok with you I would like to stop by whenever we get close to you on the tour just to play some chords through one if you have time.... P.S. I know everybody hates kiss.... but if you and a guest would like to come to a show I could arrange tix for you thank you
hey ray, of course you could stop by! Not sure you’ll be in the area. I am an hour north of Frankfurt. I don’t have a BE50 Dlx here, just a Smallbox with a BE channel. Write me to henning at henningpauly dot com
Unfortunately, it can NOT be run with a battery. Fender seems to feed this misconception and has done little to explicitly get the correct info out there. Even their reps seemed to think the entire line would run on a battery. Here are the facts: Fender Hammertone Series - 9V Battery Distortion YES Overdrive YES Reverb NO Flanger NO Fuzz YES Space Delay NO Chorus NO Metal YES Delay NO
Man, the more you dig into plugins, you find this isn't necessary. I mean shit, 30+ years playing, and I'm starting to get it finally. You can spend $500 and have dream sounds, vs thousands upon thousands. Do I like a jcm 800 at 10 blasting my face? Yes. Do I like a plexi at 10 blasting me..duh...yea. We are at a point now where pedals are a luxury and nobody cares anymore on the sound.

I like my head a bit filthy anyways
6:15 hahaha nice synthesizer sounds :). I loved them as well.

These are actually pretty cool for the price

Hey bro! I got an Ibanez rg 5170b bk
"The black one" . Which amp would be perfect with it? I only play melodies and cleans
Mirror image vs Space Delay ?
Definitely not indecent! Thanks Henning!
Best delay under 100 bucks? Hands down NuX Tape Core.
