haha thanks for the compliment Jamie! I'll take any raise I can get. I actually run my toyotajeff channel separate from my dealership. This one was my favorite to do, because it's so popular and helpful to lots of people. Anyone can give me a small raise by watching a few ads (or clicking on the bar ads) all the way through that play before my videos...that's how I get paid in this forum....thanks for watching and have a great day! Jeff
Jeff, I don't don't live near your dealership, but I have to say you have one of the better dealer RUclips sites. Been following you for a couple of years now. You really go into detail showing all the differences between the models. For me, it is very helpful in making a decision.
XSE V6 hottest sedan in its class. 19 inch rims, upscale red interior, quad exhaust, double moon roof, black painted roof, 301hp v6... Great Video man never seen a model comparison like this.
Hey thanks so much for the compliments! I slaved for almost 3 hours this past Sunday morning filming all of this haha.....thanks for watching! yes the XSE V6 is super hot looking!!
Hey I was thinking...I take video suggestions, so if you think of anything you want to know about the 2018 Camry or other Toyota, please let me know and I'll whip up a video on it!
That's a really great idea! I'll put them in my queue for upcoming videos. Should be out in maybe 1-2 weeks. Please subscribe to my channel so you get updates on new videos!
I just bought the 2018 Camry SE last week!! I LOVE this car!!! I always drove a Honda ( I've had 3 ) and just couldn't resist the new Camry body style!! The SE is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL car inside and out , and handles Great! If you are thinking of the XSE trim , but want to be more cost efficient ( like me ) , you will be totally just as satisfied with the SE trim! At $25,000.00 , it's an awesome car and worth every penny!! Very happy with my Camry!
I also buy the SE and love it the only thing i don't like are my tail lights the led part is fake so i am investigating if i can buy the XSE tail led lights and just switch so if anyone know this please let me know
Here's one huge difference for you TALL drivers. This is by far the roomiest Camry for the driver I've seen in 10 years (XSE 4cyl tested). The lowering of the whole car has added at least a foot more legroom (compared to say the 2018 Avalon). I am 6'8" tall with nearly 7' legspan and I come very close to fitting in this car (legroom-wise anyway) unlike basically nothing else. Impressive.
Thanks dude, Im very interested in the XSE trim level. Really suprised with what Toyota did with this car. I Appreciate the video! Helped me to actual know the differences in the trim levels.
I just purchased an 18 XSE that was returned off lease and it’s without a doubt the most intelligent car I’ve ever owned. I Have no clue What all it does. It’s pretty awesome car while still getting insane gas mileage. One thing I’m not to thrilled about is the radar cruise control but I assume once I get use to it it’ll be fine
5 years late, but I just bought a used 2018 XSE. Midnight black exterior, black tinted windows, black leather interior. She's a beauty! Only 35K miles on her as well, practically brand new!
Thanks for the great explanation of the cars. Great job with helping me narrow down, I was leaning towards the XLE but now, I thinking more so the XSE. Thanks again!
Oh wow that makes my day Natasha! Thanks for the compliment! I bet you'd love either XLE or XSE but there's something special about XSE haha (I own a 2018 Camry XLE). I just uploaded a video idea contest video ruclips.net/video/KVLHFRkRRdY/видео.html . Feel free to write any suggestions for my next video idea and I'll mail the winning idea a Toyota t-shirt. @@niyiayoolatitus4260 I owned it for about 9 years. The previous owner was my grandma. I took that 2007 everywhere! Multiple states and all over California.
Great video! I watched your 2015 Camry trim level video a couple years ago before I bought my black on black 2015 Camry XSE V6. The 2018 looks sweet & I'll eventually check them out in person. I would for sure go for the XSE V6 again.
I love your style Jeff, I just started training at my local Toyota dealer and your videos are by far the most informative and fun videos ti study trims with
Thank you so much for your in depth videos, they answer all of my questions before buying. If I was in Raleigh, I would definitely get a Camry from you.
I'm deadset on the XSE V6. I love all of the bells and whistles like the heads up display, navigation and even quad exhaust. Plus the 300 horsepower is always a big deal.
From the moment I saw the xse i knew that is the car that I am going to get. This will be my first vehicle, if you were in Toronto, Canada you would have definitely gotten a new client. The video was informative, detailed and very well done. Thank you!!
Something worth noting: the XSE trim has quad exhaust tips, but the outer ones aren't actually functional and are welded on. If you try to shove a stick through it gets blocked by the inner pipe lol. I guess if you really wanted, you could cut out a hole for the exhaust gases to go through all four tips but I think they should've just stuck with two total exhaust tips lol
That's what I have. Wish I had the v6 version though. And it sounds way louder than what I was expecting. And it bugs me alot. I think the v6 is quieter and has more get up
Jeff you did an amazing job with explaining the cars to us amazing!!!! And I like the excitement you Put to it too lolz keep up the good work “mr one word cool guy” lolz
I currently have an '07 Camry & have loved it's performance in the 8 years I've had it, but it's a CE so all I really want to upgrade to is the aqua blue SE for the power seats, leather interior, & sunroof. I wish it were a V6 though, but other than that I don't need all the extra stuff besides the smart key options.
great video, your in-depth analysis helped me understand the specs and I clearly have a choice now. I'm in New York, would have loved to work with you to make a purchase.
I hope they fixed the throttle lag on the 4cyl. on the '12-14 models. On another review he said it was lower, people aren't shorter. If it's lower we'll just keep our 14 XLE. Good video.
Hey! I just heard Apple CarPlay soon will be a $60 upgrade for all 2018 Camrys! Apparently the only hardware change is a USB port or cable which is why the dealer will have a $60 charge. If true that's a sweet and cheap upgrade! Now how about Android Auto next! (It is out for the new Tundra and Highlander.)
more responsive to drive, better economy, better interior/exterior all around quality and aesthetics, and consistency between models and trims is all toyota needs to be on par with mazda, but they sell out to all the normie sheep like you who flock to a badge of monotony that's just now trying to superficially grab everyone's attention with outrageously ugly and flashy design that doesn't fit the character of the car.
I am fixing to get a 2012 Camry Hybrid. I will most likely drive it until the wheels fall off. Once that happens, I will be pushing for a used XSE or XLE Camry. They're beautiful. I am actually the 1% of the population that loves CVT, so I would look for a hybrid first. Yes, they may not be as reliable, but I love the fact that you do not have shift shock. Plus, you get amazing fuel economy overall. I wouldn't pass up a V6 easily, but I would have to drive it first. From what I've seen, you have a lot of wheel spin in first gear which causes it to shift into second VERY early which kills your 0-60 time. Obviously, it would pull harder on top end vs the hybrid, but you very rarely ever need to go faster than 80-90 to pass someone quickly. My 2013 Camry SE 2.5 did that easily and with over 20 less horsepower.
Just bought the 2018 SE model, love it. I wondering, how does one make the bright middle, radio screen dark all the time? I can't figure it out... I've been searching for a setting...
If I were in the market for a new car, I would totally go for a 2018 Camry XLE! As it stands right now though, I've got a 2016 Camry (also in the XLE trim which is still very nice), and it has been great to me. Has just over 38,000 miles on it and it's been a joy to drive. It still looks almost good as new inside and out for being 2 years old too. One thing that Toyota really needs to do though is get away from their locked down Entune system and finally add on Apple CarPlay. I'm glad to see that they've done this with models like the Avalon and Corolla, but where's the Camry love? To remediate that problem, I've outfitted my particular Camry with an aftermarket head unit that has CarPlay (and wireless CarPlay at that) and couldn't be more happier with how my stock, non-JBL speakers sound with it and how it just works.

My next car purchase will be a 2018 Camry SE in Ruby Flare Pearl. I have been eyeing this car since it debuted at the Detroit International Auto Show!
The XLE catch my eyes kinda luxury mix with sporty type of car. I really like the XLE. I hope is affordable like 34k
Kev's Vidz Yes definitely you can get the four-cylinder XLE for much cheaper than that price. Come to North Carolina and work with me ha ha. Thanks for watching!
So glad that hubcaps are a thing of the past for Camry

Well, the base model L will have hub caps haha. But for the most part the LE will serve as the base model.
Marc Bynum they have 5 trims? 🤦
Anthony D. Haha yeah. L, LE, XLE, SE AND XSE. Technically there’s more if you wanna add the hybrid models too.
Yeah me too

Could I customize LE with V6? I have Venza LE with V6. The reason is I want a horse, not a pony.
No.. only XLE and xse
Great video Jeff!
Those chicken wire grills on the SE and XSE just dont cut it. Glad to see the HP bump on the 2.5 without using a turbo.
The XSE is the only one with a cd player (stock)?

Thanks for sharing this video man, really helpful... Blessings!!
Very informative and interesting vid! I’m eyeing a hybrid LE I think. Nowhere near Carolinas though. Best of luck!

why still doesn't have a smart key access system for back doors ...??
