Grizz set 3 NBA records related to injuries last season. Number of players used (33), number of different lineups used (51), and player games missed (I think over 450? Compared to OKC missing less than 60). As a result of those unjuries, the Grizz found or acquired 6 new valuable rotation pieces that seem to exceed their acquisition positions: Vince Williams, Jr. (2RP 2022), GG Jackson (2RP 2023), Jaylen Wells (2RP 2024), Scotty Pippen Jr (G League FA 2023), Jay Huff (G League FA 2024), and Zach Edey (#9 pick 2024). And Santi Aldama and Jake Larravia seem to have improved in the offseason. While JJJ improved his game last year and has kept it up.
Unfortunately, Williams Jr. injured himself again two weeks ago. 3rd degree ankle sprain, he's probably out until February. I feel bad for the guy. Comes back from injury only to quickly injure himself again his first or second game back. Edey's been out for a couple of weeks too after spraining his ankle again. I also wonder where GG Jackson will fit in the rotation once he comes back (probably not back until January). He did so great last year but now that Memphis has Jaylen Wells, they almost don't even need GG anymore. Depth is a good problem to have but at the same time, some of these guys are super talented but will just get wasted sitting on the bench (unless they get traded).
no ones taking GG tick. he can slot anywhere between the 2-4. Hes actually one of the few guys who minutes are safe. its the guards you should be worried about
We can move smart because we have his spot covered and he’s expensive. Vince Williams he may even start sometimes, also we could move Luke kennard because of defense.
Not sure if you knew or not but Vince Williams Jr got injured again about 2 weeks ago with a grade 3 ankle tear. Probably won’t be back until January at least
BC tore his achilles during a regular season game against Denver during the 2022-2023 season. Grizz played the Timberwolves in the 2021-2022 playoffs… Grizz also don’t need to trade anyone. There’s no reliable players that would make us a complete powerhouse on the free market.
This team will be extremely dangerous at full strength. The thing I love most is they like to play with one another. Culture is everything.
this is the best defense we have seen from ja morant in his career
Because Grizz roster is finally stacked
Zach Edey was an amazing draft pick for the Grizzlies, he fits so well in the lineup
Great video! As a Grizzlies fan, most videos like these dont bring up all of the points that the Grizzlies community knows about, but you did.

Unfortunately, Vince Williams got reinjured. Grade 3 sprained ankle... probably 2 months, to 6 weeks
Luke needs to step his game up. He hesitates so much before shooting. Let it fly like you did last year!
Not even Luke id say bane
Both of them really, but with so many offensive options you can’t really blame them for dialing it back

Clarke tore his Achilles in a game against the nuggets in 2023 in like February
LMAO MY BAD

the offense is partly because of new assistant coach iisalo
Great content! VWJ is hurt again and will be out until January. It is a big loss, but somehow the minutes are well covered.
Yes I’m a moron how didn’t I know this Lmao 😭

I'm convinced you're Mr. Beast's brother ❤😊
Is that a compliment or an insult hahaha
@hardwood_yt hahahaha. Take it as a compliment, please. Jimmy is a great entertainer, too.
vince williams got injured again in his 3rd game back
I really enjoyed this. Thanks.
