I want all the piper content. My vizsla Aggie acts just like that. Needy, whiney and must be close at all times, never turns down a snuggle. But literally is a velociraptor. That sage green is incredible!!!

Omg your dog 🥰 I smiled so much. I really liked "Natural Connection". I love Essie but too many releases is definitely overwhelming. Like practically speaking, I'm a busy mom. Even if I do my nails twice a week, it's hard to keep up with new colors. I think they should pace themselves more. I would have waited til February/March if I ran them lol. Great great review though
I really like this collection thanks for the review Laurie! I definitely think Essie bring out too many collections, and most of them don't even get released in the UK anymore so my go to mainstream brand is now OPI!
I am not sure how Essie works. Did the UK used to consistently get the collections and then it stopped. Could it have anything to do with COVID>

Piper is sooo cute- l❤️ve Vishlas, but don't have the room outdoors for one 😕...with regards to Essie, I just feel there can never be enough color range because we have to consider taste, range in skin tones, subtleties in shade (whether the company adds too much white for shade or black for a tint to a base color.

I could go for three of these, but yes, I get overwhelmed by the amount of new releases and making a choice I feel confident about when there are 20 similar-ish shades. I don't enjoy buying and storing much more than I can realistically use. I'd like see Essie and Opi curate a best-of handful in each color category and if necessary refine the formula for coverage and durability. Then when I need a new burgundy or green, choosing would be quick and fun.

I love Piper 💕 She’s so sweet. And I heard that the 6 shades which will be released in Europe are Swoon in the Lagoon, Willow in the Wind, Boatloads of Love, Row with the Flow, Frilly Lilies and Day Drift Away. That means there will be no Natural Connection, All Oar Nothing and no Ripple Reflect. Your Top 2 won’t be available here as far as I know… 😅

I have the whole collection now, but here in Germany I am missing "All oar nothing", "Natural Connection" and "Ripple Reflect"
I recently fell in love with every kind of washed out greens andI love the collection.
But some colors look strange on my hands.
Like a strawberry or orange milk shake. I'm saving of the colors for summer.

Great video and comps, Laurie! I kind of think Essie has too many releases, especially when you factor in the store exclusives! I don't mind hunting down my favs but get a super ticked when they release a good shade in an obscure or poorly advertised manner and I can't get my hands on it. Their marketing wing could use some serious help!

I do have a lot of the muted sage greens, and the peachy colors. But, the newer Essie polishes are so much nicer than some I have. So thank you for the review. My stores in this town just don't carry a lot of the newer collections.

I love greens but I like the more grungy olive greens bordering on pruglie greens.

After years and years of never painting my nails, I’m finally getting into it, and your videos are SO helpful as I navigate the many different colors to try! Essie is my favorite brand so far because I love the brush. I can only imagine how much work it is to do all the comparisons, but I reference your videos and Instagram photos all the time when I’m thinking about what to try next. Thank you!!! I have Natural Connection from this collection and it is one of my absolutely favorites.

I feel like there’s been way too many Essie collections, I don’t know if it’s just me. Also, it irks me that they’ve kept a few of their collections exclusive to the US, being in Canada it sucks. It’s a good thing I have a friend in the US who was able to get the ones I wanted over to me. That being said I like a few of these actually.
All Oar Nothing is such a beautiful yellow. And Piper is so cute!! 😁😁
I have a lot of polishes now but I am still tempted and probably will pick up a few of these Essie colours. I have accepted that I will just own a lot of nail polish 😊

Green is my favorite color so all makers can keep them coming as far as I am concerned! I don’t care for the shape of the Essie Expressie bottles and none of the shades of that line have really grabbed my eye. I think I’ve bought one of the Expressies in a brown just to check it out. For Essie Gel Couture, I bought most of the Enchanted Collection and then I had to have Red On The Runway. Every now and again the Gel Couture line comes out with a cool polish or two, but nothing from that line has inspired me to buy lately. Every time I tell myself I have enough polish, there comes more polish that I just have to have. I love the greens in this collection and the medium orange polish as well as the fuchsia polish! This polish game is crazy especially with Essie and OPI. Each has too many lines now. OPI with its new natural line is ridiculous.

I'm loving the greens! I have a terrible time seeing the difference between sage and mint. It's been a struggle for me. I prefer sage and even side by side it's hard for me to see it. I maybe struggle with some colorblindness that I never really recognized before. I'm trusting you and I will be picking this one up 😀

I like this collection a lot. I do get overwhelmed by Essie’s releases so I don’t know if I will get any. Not buying any spring colors till my colorpass comes, sounds like those will be spring impressionist colors.

I like this collection, not sure how many I’ll pick up but probably a couple at the least. I like Swoon, but it does look a bit like OPI’s Koala Berry and The Berry Thought of You, and I have both of those. My Walmart used to have a great polish section and it’s just a complete wreck now. I grocery shop there and liked that I could easily pick up new collection shades. Now that I have to make an extra trip I don’t get as many…. 🤔 Maybe that’s a good thing. 😂 Thanks for the great review and all the comparisons!

There is only 6 released in Canada. We are missing "Willow In The Wind", "Frilly Lillies" and "Row With The Flow"
And strangely enough they didn't even include a separate display the new polishes were just incorporated into the essie displays walls (at least that's the case at Shoppers in Toronto).

While I love these polishes, I think it’s too much. I get overwhelmed with the options. I’m fairly new to nail polish (started my collection in 2020), and right now sticking to OPI. Maybe I’ll expand once get bored of their releases. Thanks for the review, I love watching even though I know I probably won’t buy any 😄
I started collecting with OPI in 2009 and expanded to Orly, Essie, Sinful Colors, China Glaze, and Morgan Taylor! Theeen there’s the indie polishes! It’s a slippery slope once you start collecting! 😄

The collection was released in Germany with 6 out of 9, I guess this is the European release set. We didn't get the colors you picked as your favorites, except for the namesake, "Swoon in the lagoon". So, no sage green for us 😒

my drugstore doesn`t have all the shades (only 6 unfortunately). does anyone know, if all of the polishes are available in europe and does essie say anyting about it? i might check out my other drugstores, because im always in for a nice yellow 😄. ``all oar nothing`` looks like essies pictures of ``hay there `` that they had on instagram and i was disappointed, when i bought ``hay there`` and saw that it was a true yellow , instead of a beige yellow ( it`s always so hard to check with essies bright white light in stores).
I bought Willow in the Wind at CVS and put it on yesterday. Mine isn't nearly as bright as yours. Actually it looks like an altogether different shade of green. 🙄
The Essie regular line is so huge that it *is* a little overwhelming for me. I love the Gel Couture line so much that one of the ways I narrow down my choices is just looking for my favorite colors in that line.

Oh essie dgaf about other countries, I am in Canada and often (very much so in 2021) we were excluded from collections completely or didn't get certain colours and when I asked them on socials they just gave me bogus responses to check their website for store locators, which isn't helpful.
I bought Boat Loads Of Love,however I did not like the formula . It seemed thick and did not apply well . Did I just get a bad bottle ? I do like the color and see how it looks in three coats .
