A bit late to react as I just re-subscribed. I enjoy some of your videos and live in the Seattle area myself. I am glad to see that you had a pleasant time in Redmond during your visit! I sometimes go there when I can, to get away from the main city, and I find the area to be peaceful and welcoming. Fresh air and good food. Town Center Mall where you filmed is a nice place to walk too. Seattle has it's issues, but there are some places that are considered safer or quieter, like Redmond, parts of Bellevue and Kirkland and even some areas closer to Seattle, like Edmonds or Mountlake. Most folks I've met in the city while living here are kind people. Hope your visit was successful!
I used to live in Redmond. It makes me smile and laugh to see a Japanese tourist's view of Redmond Town Center! I used to take walks there with my family, and I very often went into Uncle's Games for a quick look, just to embrace my inner child. We actually moved out before the ramen shop opened; good to know that the ramen is pretty authentic! I think the Daiso must be very new. I remember seeing a news story not too long ago about how Japanese brand stores are coming to the Seattle area. Probably they were talking about Daiso. I'm learning Japanese and I really enjoyed your storytelling! You use a lot of rare words and expressions which made this very fun to study. I noticed a few of the translations were wrong though-perhaps a result of machine translation? Even so, I appreciate the hard work to put in the subtitles, as it is easier to do my own translations when I already have a rough idea of what is being said. Also I have to say, your candid recounting of experiences and thoughts like not being able to sleep made the video all the more fascinating.
Please do upload vlogs from the rest of your trip. It's always nice to see how the rest of the world views the US, and especially from a Japanese perspective. The US has a deep appreciation for Japanese culture, as evidenced by Shogun recently winning 18 Emmy awards and setting a new record for most wins in the process.

Thank you for the video! I am from America, but I have never been to Washington state, so it was exciting for me too.
Oh man they were playing X Japan at the Ramen Shop! If you're ever in Texas come to my anime/gundam shop! 😊
