Thank you so very much for reaching out to me. It's been one of the most difficult things I've ever dealt with in my life. My Luna is a rescue from a shelter in El Paso after I lost my terrier-mix rescue after having her for 15 1/2 years. If dogs have souls, I feel like my Cali sent Luna to me as I adopted her exactly three months after losing her. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts...
Glad you're doing well! Make sure you follow the surgeon's instructions, especially all the exercises and you'll recover nicely.
Actually, the orthopedic surgeon said I could skip P.T. as hips heal differently than knees. I have a funny somewhat "esoteric" PT that is from New York that I have to "dial back" sometimes. If I need more later, I'm sure my orthopedic surgeon will give me a script.
Wow Cheryl. You have been thru so much. No doubt you are depressed. I sure would be. Hang in there and please know there are a slew of us out here rooting for you. As for your channel, if it's fun do it. If it stops being fun, stop doing it. That's my two cents. :)

Hey, thanks for the well wishes. You're right I'm going a little crazy staying at home, but it's temporary. Luna's a good companion and makes me laugh at her antics every day.

Cheryl, I started to flood your channel with too many messages and deleted them until I could watch your whole video which I did early this morning, and give less emotional responses being in a funk of my own.
I also watched the robotic surgery link you left. Seven years out and I still cringe. Mako Robotic THR is so avant-garde! 3D printing?
I feel your disappointment in the caregiver you hired. I was so disturbed by that experience for you. I wish I were there so much, and now, too. I was very alone as well.
You could be me except you're attractive lol. Not having close up and personal support is a deal breaker for me in getting 2nd hip done.
Try not to get discouraged by you tube. You tube's not fickle as much as the audience is. People are so diverse. And sometimes not very bright, but those who do respond here clearly are the ones you want: their comments are well-articulated, warm and lovely.
Please never measure your worth based on your channel. There's so many algorithms that enter into this mix. Your luminary filmography was excellent yet I don't think I commented (I do always unconditionally give a Like before even viewing). Desensitization is very much at work. Growing a channel is anything but easy. Yours may stay on the esoteric side but that's the way with most small business startups. Try not to take it personally, because it does not reflect on you, the "is-ness" that is Cheryl.

Actually, the PT comes to my house three times a week. I'm actually walking now unaided in the house and take my cane outside just to err on the safe side. Thanks for stopping by and visiting...
And your opening graphic is great, too. Esoteric channels, though so artfully done, barely get a squeak. I'm almost 65. The content that gets a high volume of subs is from shock & jock stuff. The real stuff like yours stays hidden. So ironic.
