Watching a lake detecting vid sweet
Glad you enjoyed. I have several lake detecting videos with the Simplex and also the new Legend.
Thanks for doing Simplex and given target #'s.
I love my Simplex!!
I have Blood Cancer & use Metal Detecting as my exercise.
Being a female I have about detected our Parks out.
Being Female I'm scared to do door knocks so not lucky enough to ever find old buttons or anything.
So to ALL YOU DETECTORS some of us can live through your video's. I too live in S.C. Born & raised & love our State🇺🇸
Thanks so much for sharing & helping us Simplex Owners 👍
HH Everyone.
That is great to hear that you are enjoying the videos.
May God bless you. Thanks for watching.
It's so interesting. I too have blood cancer and I am just exploring to buy some metal detector to start a new hobby which keep me going. Best regards!
Thank you
Hope your treatments went well or are going well. I had blood cancer myself a.l.l. 38 months of chemo. I enjoy metal detecting too . Stay active 👍🏻best of wishes.
Nokta Makro technology will rule the hobby for years to come!
They have shaken up the industry, that’s for sure.
I put a magnet in my scooper, it helps alot especially for hooks Bobby pins and yes beach shoes is a must nice video.
Hey that’s a great idea!
Great finds you do well keep it up
Thank you.
The rings were cool but, whats really catchy to my eyes? The rainbow toning on the clad is neat! Great hunt Brother!
I have and use NOKTA MAKRO SIMPLEX all the time. It is a very good for about everything. I also use the pinpointer .
They continue to make great detectors! The new Generation Simplex is even better than the original.
Looks like a lot of fun treasure hunting in water !👍just hot desert near the Grand Canyon.🤨 keep cranking them vids, GL & HH.
Thanks. By the way, your shirt and hat will go out Monday in the post office. I had a busy week this past week and couldn’t get it to the PO.
Great vidéo my freind and nice finds 👍👍
Thanks
I'm in Orangeburg SC, I use the simplex package too. The pulse dive, and wireless headphones with the simplex plus, and sp24 coil, is a phenomenal setup.
Yes I enjoy their products!! Thanks for watching
Thank you for the adventure and seeing some nice finds ! Take care , stay safe and healthy wherever your next adventure takes you ! Doing well here in Kansas .
Thanks for watching.
@@southernrelics you're welcome
Yep... got me a Simplex... still waiting for the first ring!! 👍😁
It will come. Thanks for watching.
I am hoping next yr to get into the lake more.. Trail an Era for me this yr. Water Hunting is a whole new ball game in this hobby..
Yes it is different for sure. Thanks for watching.
Great video my friend. Good hunt in the water. Seems like that area is a real hot spot for hunting. Congratulations on the silver ring find. Good thing that detector is waterproof, it seems to be under water a lot. Thanks for sharing.😎👍👍👌👌⛏⛏
Oh yes, it is submersible to 10 feet! I’m impressed with how they do in water.
Cleaning up the lake one bottle cap at a time....lol. Seriously, very cool hunt! Congratulations on getting affiliated with Nokta Makro, they look like awesome machines. Take care, GL on your next hunt!
Yes thank you so much.
Great finds Sir, enjoyed hunting with you
Thanks for watching!!!
Ever since i got my simlex i haven't touched my at pro im going to sell it an get another simplex for my grand kids to use with me awsome
I agree. The Simplex outperforms the AT Pro in my opinion.
Thanks for sharing the hunt and finds. Wishing you all the best with your switch and testing. Good luck, happy hunting and take care.
It is going well and thank you.
Like them rings. Thinking about getting me a Nokta Makro Detector. I have a Whites right now and a PulseDive Pinpointer from Nokta Makro, and I really like it.
I really enjoy the Simplex and PulseDive
Wow what a beautiful ring i wish i got to find that two in my hunt gongrats sir stay safe and godbless😊
Thank you. We appreciate your support of our channel.

Thanks Derek!!! I’m trying to sniff out a few rings up here on these lakes. I’m not half as good at it as you are!!!
Southern Relics to funny! Thank you 🙏 I hope everyone watches and learns from my videos. Wishing you some fat gold sir!💪😎🙏
Metal Detecting Channel thank you.
Congrats on the rings! Also congrats on becoming a Nomad! (I think that's what they are called.) What a blessed hunt!
I believe we are candidates for that for sure. We are enjoying the detectors. Thanks for watching.
Watching, I'm thinking of getting a Simplex for water hunts.
You will enjoy it. I will say that in salt water, the simplex will struggle a little. But in freshwater, it’s a beast.
@@southernrelics Thank You!
Never have done any water hunting but am going to be getting into some creeks soon. Well done!
Hey that’s awesome! Thanks for watching.
Great video! May I ask what kind of settings you use in the water? I also have a simplex but I only get squicy sounds!
I was using it in fresh water, so the settings were the same as when I land hunt. Park 1 is my favorite, and I can run the sensitivity all the way up. In salt water it can be a little chirpy. Discr up to 15 and turn down the sensitivity and that will help along with a good ground balance.
I hate to see that yawl are throwing your Garretts to the wayside. I own an AT Pro and also the Simplex. I never leave home without them. I’ve did my own testing with the Simplex, and yes it did a great job in finding a few targets that the AT Pro missed. I hope they make them a bit more rugged in the future. It just kinda feels flimsy, especially the shaft. I’m looking for a carbon fiber one for mine. The Garrett is balanced great and comes out of the box feeling rugged. I’m still learning the Simplex and it appears to be a good machine, but for now, I’m still bringing the Pro along also.
Enjoyed the water hunt, catch yawl on the next video.
La Low N Slow
We aren’t going to quit using them, but with the future of our channel and brand, we are now Nokta Makro users. My Ace will go to my daughter to use as well as be a backup if my Simplex has an issue or the battery dies while out digging.
We all are doing something very similar.
We still love our Garrett machines.
The carbon shafts are due to hit the market in a couple weeks. It will make a significant difference.
Thanks for watching.
Southern Relics
Keep me in mind when they do, I want one.
La Low N Slow
La LoW N Slow I sure will.
I got a bounty hunter iv and now it's time to buy a nokta simplex soon
Awesome! It will be a great upgrade. Happy hunting.
Speaking of Nokta Makro; any plans to test out the new Nokta Makro Gold Finder?
Great show BTW!
Funny you ask. I just got it in the mail a couple days ago. I’ll be releasing videos in a couple weeks featuring it and seeing what it will do.
What size screen and how did you secure it
Hola amigo, like y a mirar el video!! 💪💪
Thank you for watching.
you had a great day with coins
Oh yes! That beach and swimming hole was loaded. Thanks for watching.
Is that your white discovery up there? Great hunt sir!
Yes it is!!! It’s what I call my Relic Rover. It’s a project vehicle, but I love it. It’s fun. Thanks for watching.
Difficult to find underwater hunters! May I ask what mode you are using? What mode do you find works best in fresh water? Do you prefer the SP24 underwater? Must be easier to swing. Thanks so much really appreciate any advice!
Great question. Sorry for the late delay. Been busy.
I personally like Park 1 since it gives the three tones. When using a sand scoop, I like the SP24 coil because it’s about the same width as the scoop. This helps with faster recovery.
Thank you..every bit of advice helps!@@southernrelics
Nice video. Just a little fyi, the ring with the "I will always be with you", may be a memorial ring. If that is the case, the stone may be made from someone's cremated ashes.
Very interesting! Wow! It DID mean a lot to someone!
I think I need to use more my simplex!
It’s a great detector!!
Question: I took my detector to the beach yesterday, and noticed while in the water, if I would sweep from side to side at a normal rate, as if I were on line, I would get too many false readings. If I swept slowly, very slowly, it seemed to work better. Any comments on this? I use the Nokta Simplex +.
Great question. It could be the coil wire moving around through the water. I do know that the SP24 coil is the best coil for the Simplex. It’s better than the stock coil. You can always drop your sensitivity down one or two knotches as well.
@@southernrelics yup... I plan on purchasing the SP24 coil. I just have to figure out a way so the wifey doesn't "detect" the credit card purchase. 😶
I'm thinking about getting one on the notka simplex + packages that come with the pinpointer and wireless headphones. Are the notka wireless headphones waterproof too or are you using a different pair? I understand that the pinpointer that comes with it is water proof. I got a minelab vanquish 540 pro pack a few months back I haven't got to use much yet due to ankle surgery but would like a total waterproof machine for when I get mobile. I'll have to learn them both . The only machine I've really used extensively is my Fisher gold bug 2 . Anyway thanks for the content I've got a couple of months here on the couch to go nuts so RUclips keeps me occupied!
I sure hope you recover well. The headphones are not waterproof. With them being wireless, they wouldn’t work anyway when the control box goes under water. The water blocks the signal.
If you decide to buy that package, make sure you use the SRELICS discount code
@@southernrelics ok great thanks
Have you submerged the head unit ever??
Oh yes. Many times. I’ve been diving with all of the Nokta detectors (Simplex, Score, Legend).
I tried hunting water with my Nokta Simplex + this summer and could not get a good signal at all for any numbers really. It acted like it just didn't want to give me a signal in the water. Any ideas on what could be going on?
It could be a number of things. Were you in saltwater or fresh?
What mode were you in?
Were you discriminating anything out?
What was your sensitivity level?
@southernrelics not in salt water and not discriminating anything out either. Just seemed like it would not signal on anything.
@ yeah that’s odd. Does it seem to work normal on targets in the dry?
@southernrelics Yeh works great that way.
Coin shooting is another term i like. Kinda shows my era though lol
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
Also next time you go beach hunting let me know ill send you with the go sun...you can have a better lunch than a sammich
The Titan Preparedness Channel yeah that’s right! That would be fun!!!
What state do you live in ? Kinda looks like Oklahoma waters .
Upstate SC.
Man with all them coins your finding you be able to retire by the time your 100. Good hunt bud
The Titan Preparedness Channel 😂 yep.
Pure io ho il simplex dentro l'acqua non riesco a settarlo comunque mi sono appena iscritto al tuo canale 👍🤝
Thanks for watching.
