I have a polygon relic 24 because my dad did not know that I was so good at mountain biking so for christmas I want to get a polygon siskin-d24x I am not sure if I should and I am 8 years old
Thanks Tony, glad you liked it and it was helpful. I think the Shimano Altus MT200 can be bought cheaply, even better when you can get one off a new bike for cheap. Shimano Deore MT400 is also an excellent choice.
Oh, dear! Don't tempt me to answer your quiz! 😅 As for me, I learned basic, proper mountainbiking on the hardtail. Hence, my undeniable attachment to it. As for dual suspension mountainbike, mmm... I actually must get used to it. I had an opportunity to use one. I had a not good first impression after using it. Obviously, it wasn't tuned to my specs. So there's that. I'm too attached with my hardtail for now. I'm not gonna lose it for a dual-suspension mtb. Lots of love, cheers, & Mabuhay, from my end--the Philippines! #RideOn #KeepBiking
Thanks Yeng, they both have it's uses and both have strengths and weaknesses. It's really depends on where you ride the most. But to me as a beginner it was hard to decide at first when you don't really have an idea where you'll end up riding. I noticed some of my tito's in the Philippines started with MTB, but ride road most of the time so still end up getting a road bike. Full sus will suck a lot on the road, not just the suspension, but mostly the knobby tires.
@@RidesWithJake I can attest to the fact of what you said re some beginner mountain bikers ending up roadbiking here in the Philippines especially so that some 'titos' are really showing off their becoming of old age.
Another awesome video Jake!!!
Thank you @BikesOnline, Glad you enjoyed it! 🤙
I really appreciate the review. My daughter was able to connect with this video being done by a little shredder 🤘
That’s awesome! Glad you liked it, it’s been great reviewing bikes from the rider’s perspective.

Good videos! Which would you choose between the estrada and the d24x?
Hi there, good question! I’d choose the D24X over the Xtrada 24 😀
Awesome review what Shimano brakes would you recommend
