Hey Justin! Thanks for giving us a, "peek behind the curtain", at Southern Mud! Your talent at making pottery is self-evident. One could tell that this was not your first rodeo at making one of these! Dad always said that, " The mark of a true professional is doing something difficult and making it look easy!" It is not hard to see why these "Ugly Mugs" are so popular. Should I be concerned that the final results bear more than just a passing resemblance to me?! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Well Done!
Evening Justin. Quite enjoyable to watch. Saved till this evening with coffee to watch.Craftsman at work . I use to enjoy creating things when i use to lay tile .
I enjoyed watching you make that. You got artistic talent for sure. Yep, that would be expensive because that is a lot of work. I've got an ugly mug..I was born with it!
Good looking mug Justin! I've been following y'all for about 2 weeks now and really enjoying your channel. We're in the Appalachians of northeast Alabama.
Well thank you and welcome to the family. Garden is about to wind up and time for some craftsmanship videos. Lot of projects i wanna get done before winter
I love it !!! To be able to watch the artist himself creating my new collection! I gifted this mug to my best friend but I’m anxiously awaiting my next signed collectors edition mug .
Good morning Justin, that's a awesome mug . I use to collect mustache mugs long ago but then they started getting expensive. It's Awsome your pottery skills God is so Good to us. Blessing to ya'll.
@SpiritoftheOutdoors I hear ya and they keep blaming covid . And supply chain , time to go back to everything made in Good ol USA 🇺🇸 not assembled in USA.
Looks fun I know what you mean by time consuming. I build custom Longbows and Recurves. People don't realize how much time goes into handcrafting one of a kind items.
Man i have made 2 bows and tried to film building one and something happens everytime. One hickory had a worm hole across right under the top ring . An osage had a crack in the wood that ran out the side and i just stopped. I have another started in the spring but i got busy and havnt finished it but im about too. Gonna char the belly
I am sorry but I disagree with you, I think you have a unique talent all your own. Each mug being its own is special! If anyone was looking at several on a shelf I think you would be able to name each one to match a relative or friend or neighbor or co-worker. They would each develop their own personality! Wonderful!
That's some fine work! I can't help but wonder what Ol' Brody did with your missing spatula! His mans might have needed some pancakes... ain't no tellin! You and your Missus are raising a fine young man! He steals the show every time! Take care:)
Justin: You should do one of those Spirit of the woods faces like every wood carver here does. It would fit right in with your "Spirit" theme? God bless: Two Feathers
I complemented your work and ask what you thought of my metal art and you tube said I violated guidlines for that. wow and deleted my coment. sorry for confusion. I just enjoy your work and channel.

Hey Uncle S! It has been my experience that dogs are excellent judges of "Inner Character"... and both Jake & Roscoe approve of their Human Beings!
@@martinmeltzer2696 I've always felt that way too. If a dog doesn't like somebody, you shouldn't trust them.
